As per the stream-wise NIRF reports 2024 released by JMI, the highest package offered during JMI placements 2024-25 (Phase 1) was INR 24.5 LPA. A total of 40 companies took part in the recruitment process, with top recruiters including CISCO, Optum, and McKinley Rice.

The University Placement Cell of JMI has published the placement data for BTech and MCA programs. As per the report, Optum recruited 12 students from MCA and BTech (CS/EE/ECE) as Software Development Associates with a salary package of INR 18 LPA during JMI placements 2024. Previously, during Jamia Millia Islamia placements 2023, 59.7% of the total students secured placements in the IT sector, while 14.3% and 9.7% were placed in the Management and Finance domains, respectively. Additionally, the internship distribution rate during JMI placements 2023 stood at 10%.

During JMI MCA placements 2023, the recorded placement rate was 70%, with top recruiters including TCS, Accenture, and HCL. The highest package offered for MCA stood at INR 8 LPA, while the highest stipend reached INR 40,000. Additionally, media reports indicate that over 350 students secured placements during Jamia Millia Islamia Phase 1 placements 2023.

For BTech and MBA students, the highest package offered ranged between INR 20 LPA and INR 25 LPA. Notably, five international companies extended offers within this salary range to JMI MBA and BTech students. Moreover, 45 companies recruited the highest number of students during the 2023 placement drive. Some of the top recruiters included KPMG, Accenture, and DLF.
