Jaipur Engineering College (JEC) was established in 2000 in Kota, Rajasthan. It is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. The College offers two courses viz. B.Tech and M.Tech programs. B.Tech is a regular program of 4-years duration with 7 specializations. M.Tech is a 2-years duration course with 4 disciplines.

Jaipur Engineering College B.Tech Admission 2018

Jaipur Engineering College offers B.Tech program with 7 specializations and total intake of 600 including all branches. Applicants who have passed 10+2/ HSC or its equivalent examination with minimum 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics (as compulsory subjects) and anyone out of these optional subjects viz. Chemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology, and Biology are considered eligible for admission to B.Tech course.

Admission to the program is given on the basis of candidate’s merit in JEE Main, REAP and in the qualifying examination. 70% of the seats in each specialization is filled through REAP merit, 15% through JEE Main, and the remaining 15% under Management Quota are filled directly on the basis of candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination.

Jaipur Engineering College M.Tech Admission 2018

JEC offers M.Tech program with 4 specializations and 18 seats in each specialization concluding to 72 seats in the entire course. Students who hold BE, B.Tech Degree in relevant specialization with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC, ST candidates) are considered eligible to get admission in the M.Tech program. Admission to the program is given on the basis of candidate’s merit in the Degree course and preference is given to the students with valid GATE score.

Jaipur Engineering College Application Process 2018

Applicants may apply online and offline as well for both B.Tech and M.Tech program separately. Candidates may collect the application form from the college office and submit it through the post or in person. Online application form could be filled through the college’s website and payment of the application fee shall be made online only.

Online

• Go to the official website of JEC and click on “Apply for Admission” tab.
• On the next page read all the instructions carefully and enter your personal, educational details.
• Upload the mandatory documents and make the payment of the application fee.
• Pay the application fee of INR 1000 through Net Banking, Credit or Debit card.
• Submit the application form

Offline

• Collect the application form in person from the college by paying the application fee.
