Scholarships at IIIT Bangalore

IIIT Bangalore provides merit and need-based scholarships to deserving and financially disadvantaged students. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements may apply for either of the scholarships. The following information is provided:

• Student Merit Scholarship: Every year, IIIT Bangalore awards INR 50,000 to each student in the “Top 18” category. Students seeking this scholarship are chosen from the Dean’s Merit list.
• Utkarsha Scholarship: This program is only available to BTech+MTech students. The top five candidates who achieve a JEE Main rank of less than 999 are eligible for a five-year tuition cost waiver. The first-year tuition cost waiver is determined by JEE Main scores. In succeeding years, the student must maintain a CGPA of 3.6 or higher. (on a 4-point scale).
