Academic Block

The academic building boasts contemporary architecture, offering advanced teaching facilities that contribute to a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere, embracing open spaces and natural light. Within the academic block are 15 smart, futuristic classrooms, each equipped with top-notch audio-visual and interactive technology. The MDRC block, dedicated to short-term executive programs, features a recently refurbished guesthouse for participants. The room count has been increased from 36 to 54 (double occupancy), accompanied by the addition of multiple meeting and conference rooms furnished with ultra-modern equipment and world-class furniture. The interiors of the rooms have been enhanced to provide greater comfort and luxury for participants in MDP programs.

The new, spacious placement office is equipped with all the necessary facilities to ensure corporate comfort during the demanding placement season. The institute also houses an incubation room to support the entrepreneurial endeavors of its students and alumni. The infrastructure includes a state-of-the-art, air-conditioned computer laboratory with smart workstations. Renovations extend to office spaces such as the PGP Office, IT Office, and IRC, creating a more vibrant work atmosphere. Additional office spaces have been introduced to accommodate the growing workforce.

IT Infrastructure

IMT Ghaziabad campus features a fully Wi-Fi-enabled campus, boasting approximately 1000 nodes connected through a robust backbone of 10 Gbps fiber connectivity within a multi-layer, high-end Cisco campus-wide network. The institute enjoys 420 Mbps (1:1) Metro Ethernet connectivity, with the flexibility to upgrade to 1 Gbps upon request. A total of 13 enterprise-level servers support domain, applications, security, and storage services, all housed in a server room designed according to international standards. Faculty members are equipped with the latest laptops and dedicated laser printers, ensuring efficient work tools. Continuous 24×7 connectivity is provided to students, and official email accounts are accessible globally for faculty, students, and alumni.

Classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi-enabled projectors capable of connecting up to 16 computers simultaneously, compatible with Android and iOS platforms. Additionally, a sound reinforcement system for addressing students is in place, featuring Green Extron class D power amplifiers and high-end speakers with a wide frequency spectrum and high SPL.

IMT has established academic alliances with prominent IT companies such as SAP, SAS, Cisco, and Microsoft, enabling the provision of world-class technical education to students.

Finance lab 

The Finance Lab at our institution features 12 fully equipped Bloomberg terminals, a distinctive feature in India. This facilitates the integration of cutting-edge technology into the curriculum, ensuring students are well-prepared for the industry. Through Bloomberg simulations, students gain insights into the functioning of real trading floors in commercial and investment banks. Upon graduation, they emerge as proficient users of Bloomberg software, positioning them as sought-after candidates for prestigious finance firms. The Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) certification further adds a globally recognised credential, making a significant enhancement to students’ resumes.

Real Time Contextual Laboratory (RTCML) 

IMT Ghaziabad’s Real-Time Contextual Laboratory (RTCML) serves as a distinctive element, positioning the Digital Marketing and Consumer Insights domain as unique not only in India but on a global scale. Within RTCML, a variety of proprietary tools (such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud-Social Studio and Hootsuite) and open-source Digital Marketing, CRM, and Analytics tools (including Tableau, R, SAS, and NVivo) are hosted. These tools cater to diverse functions such as audience sentiment measurement, marketing automation, other customer-facing operations, and data processing and visualisation.

The IMT-developed RTCML framework captures both online and offline data, creating an omnipresent experience. RTCML actively collaborates with leading players in the Digital Marketing field for joint solutions development. Furthermore, RTCML serves as a platform for the institute’s intellectual property creation in areas such as beacon-based proximity marketing and predictive solutions in the realms of media and banking.

Media and Entertainment Lab (MEL) 

The Media and Entertainment Lab (MEL) serves as an internal research facility and case development center focused on exploring, interpreting, and documenting trends within the Media and Entertainment sector. Through collaboration with industry leaders, our goal is to generate a fresh reservoir of knowledge in this field. IMT Ghaziabad campus has set up a fully operational center designed to familiarise and empower students with the latest and pertinent databases utilised by the industry, including BARC, ComScore, and IRS.

Smart Analytic Decisions Lab

The Smart Analytic Decisions Lab caters to students specialising in the Analytics track. The recently upgraded laboratories are equipped with 244 HP All-in-One desktops featuring the latest technology to meet the needs of those in the IT/Systems domain.

Housing

A new block of the hostel, fully air-conditioned and equipped with state-of-the-art recreational facilities, is currently under construction. This block is designed to accommodate 500 students, with phase I of the hostel being operational since June 2018 and currently hosting 300 students. The anticipated completion of the second phase is in March 2021.

Within the dining building, there is an air-cooled dining hall for students on the ground floor, while the mezzanine floor hosts an air-conditioned dining hall for faculty, staff, and guests. The dining facility has a capacity to accommodate up to 600 individuals simultaneously. Additional facilities at our institute encompass separate hostels for male and female students, extensive library resources, seminar and reading halls, outdoor and indoor sports grounds, as well as a medical room for staff, students, and visitors. The college mess provides both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options.

Recreation

Enhancing the campus aesthetics, the sophisticated auditorium building has a seating capacity of 570 guests. It serves as a spectacular venue for large conferences, seminars, film screenings, presentations, theatre, and diverse cultural performances. The audio-visual facilities within ensure that every occasion hosted on IMT Ghaziabad campus is a memorable experience for guests.

For those with a penchant for sports or outdoor activities, an array of recreational facilities is available. Outdoor sports enthusiasts can engage in popular games like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Badminton, and Basketball. Individuals favoring indoor recreation can partake in games such as table tennis, carom, and chess. Additionally, the campus features a well-equipped gymnasium with weights for students interested in fitness. The amphitheatre serves as a popular spot for students to unwind, find tranquility, or concentrate on their studies. The IMT Ghaziabad campus buzzes with various management computer games, with student teams organising competitions to strive for improvement and set new records. While academics are a focal point, student committees like the ‘Cultural Committee’ and ‘Sports Committee’ organise a multitude of events throughout the year, ensuring a well-rounded and enjoyable college experience.
