Admission to any streams’ MBA program at the Institute of Management Studies (IMS), Ranchi University, is based upon the score of either of these CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, and ATMA exams. 

Besides that, the application form for admission is available online only whenever the institute announces the date of selection.

How to Apply? 

• The institute accepts applications to any of the MBA programs online.
• To apply for the MBA or EMBA program, candidates should submit the application fee before filling in the application form.
• There are only two modes of paying the application fee; via demand draft and NEFT.
• Demand Draft should be submitted to the institution with the application number written on the backside.
• Candidates who do not live in the state of Jharkhand will be considered as the General category.

How to make payment through Demand Draft or NEFT:

To submit the admission fee through Demand Draft, candidates should follow this procedure:

• Payable to: Vocational A-1 MBA Course
• Amount:
  • INR 500 for General and OBC candidates
  • INR 450 for SC/ST candidates
• Payable at: RANCHI

To submit the admission fee through NEFT, candidates should follow this procedure:
