IMS, DAVV MBA Eligibility
It is necessary for applicants to meet the following eligibility in order to apply for the desired programme.
Eligibility for General MBA and other MBA programmes
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH candidates of Madhya Pradesh only).
- Those who are in the final year of their Graduation can also apply.
- The upper age limit for male candidates is 28 years on July 1. Relaxation of 3 years in upper age limit is provided to SC/ST/OBC candidates.
- For candidates belonging to Physically Challenged category, the upper limit is 35 years.
NOTE – For General MBA, students must possess a valid CMAT scorecard.
Eligibility for Hospital Management
- To apply for this MBA programme, applicants must have a MBBS, BDS, B.Sc (Nursing), B.Pharm, BBA (HA) or other medical degree equivalent to MBBS and one year internship from a recognized university with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH candidates of MP only).
- Final year candidates are also eligible.
- There is no age limit.
IMS, DAVV MBA Selection Criteria

Selection Criteria for General MBA
- Candidates have to take part in the DTE counselling process conducted by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
- After registration and submission of CMAT scores at the counselling website, a merit list will be released depending upon the score obtained by candidates.
- This list will contain names of students who have to be present for the counselling round.
- Such applicants have to visit the Reporting centre where they will go through the document verification and choice filling process.
- If students are allotted a seat as per the choices filled during any of the counselling rounds then they need to submit the documents online at the DTE counselling website.
- Further, they have to pay a part of course fees to confirm the seat.
- While the remaining course fee will be paid when reporting to the institute, completing the final stage of the admission process.
- Lastly, applicants need to report at the Institute of Management, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya in order to complete the admission process
Selection Criteria for other MBA Programmes
- For all other MBA programmes, the university will conduct entrance test.
- Those who obtain a merit in this test are selected for admission.
- Therefore, the final selection for MBA in Financial Administration, Human Resource, Marketing Management, Disaster Management, Hospital Management and E-Commerce solely depends upon the merit in the entrance test.
