Scholarships at IIIT Delhi 2022
Scholarships and fellowships are available to UG, PG, and Ph.D. students at IIIT Delhi. For B.Tech students, there are two types of scholarships available: merit-based and income-linked fee waiver. The institute provides a monthly stipend to M.Tech and Ph.D. students based on their academic performance.
Scholarships for B.Tech students based on merit:
Candidates with JEE Main scores less than 2000 are eligible for the chairman’s merit scholarship. Such applicants are eligible for a scholarship of INR 1.25 LPA for four years; in this case, a student must maintain a CGPA of 8.5 or higher to be eligible for a four-year scholarship. The income-linked scholarship is not available to these candidates.
Scholarship based on income:
For Delhi students, IIIT Delhi offers an income-based fee waiver programme. The eligibility requirements and percentage fee waiver are outlined below.

Only full-time regular M.Tech students at IIIT Delhi are eligible for Financial Assistance. GATE qualified students will receive a monthly stipend of INR 12,400 for up to 24 months. A monthly stipend of INR 31,000 for the first two years, INR 35,000 for the third and fourth years, and INR 30,000 for the fifth year will be paid to full-time Ph.D. students based on academic performance.
