Scholarships
IIT Roorkee Scholarship
IIT Roorkee has established a single window system for all scholarship-related affairs. The following financial assistance and scholarships are available to students:
| Scholarship Name | Benefits |

| James Thomason Scholarship | Students with an All India Rank up to 250 in JEE (Advanced) are eligible for INR 25,000 per month for the entire duration of the program. |
| Merit cum Means Scholarship | General/OBC students receive tuition fee reimbursement and INR 1,000 per month for 10 months. M.Sc. students receiving this scholarship get INR 1,000 per month for 10 months. |
| Tuition Fee Waiver and Free Messing | All SC/ST/PH students receive a full tuition fee waiver. SC/ST students with a family income not exceeding INR 5,00,000 per annum can apply for free messing (basic menu) and a pocket allowance of INR 250 per month. These students are also exempt from paying hostel room rent. |
| Tuition Fee Waiver | Students with a family income below INR 1,00,000 per annum receive a full tuition fee waiver. Those with a family income between INR 1,00,000 and INR 5,00,000 per annum receive a two-thirds tuition fee waiver. |
| DST-INSPIRE Scholarship for 5 Year Integrated M.Sc. Programmes | Students enrolled in the 5-year Integrated M.Sc. program can receive an INSPIRE Scholarship of INR 60,000 per year, subject to criteria set by DST. |
