About College

Indian Institute of Plantation Management, Bangalore was established in the year 1993. It is jointly sponsored by the plantation sector & the Commodity Boards like Tea Board, Coffee Board, Spices Board, Rubber Board & Plantation Associations, viz. Indian Tea Association (ITA) and UPASI.

Indian Institute of Plantation Management offers courses in plantation sector & other associated agri-business sectors.

PGDM ABPM (approved by AICTE), FPM (Fellow Program in Management) in ABPM, certificate course in Tea Tasting & Marketing (PCP-TTM) etc. The students of the college are educated by experienced faculty and by some distinguished faculty from renowned institutions.

Library It has a spacious & well stocked library with modern facilities & internet access. The library has about 8000+ books related to subjects and about 140 Journals in addition to several audio/video cassettes & CDs for the students.
Computer center It has a well equipped computer center. The computer center has about 30 high speed processors. It also has access to internet via BSNL.
Technical Lab There is a technical lab which is well equipped & certain lab session are conducted here the students.
Hostel Facilities It provides Separate hostel accommodation facility for both boys & girls. Hostel is provided with required facility for students.
