Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI)

Candidates who have taken the CAT and applied to IIM Udaipur will be shortlisted based on their CAT scores. The eligibility cut-off percentiles for the PI process are outlined in the table below:

The IIM Udaipur Admission Committee will determine the final number of candidates invited for the PI process based on criteria established for each category. If the number of shortlisted candidates is below the required threshold, the overall and section-wise minimum cut-offs may be adjusted downward.

IIM Udaipur MBA Selection Criteria: Merit List Preparation

The merit list for admission will be based on candidates’ scores from the PI of CAP 2025, in addition to their CAT scores and profile scores. The weightage assigned to each criterion for the merit list is outlined in the table below:

IIM Udaipur MBA Admission: How to Apply

Interested candidates should visit the official CAT website at www.iimcat.ac.in. They need to register and begin by completing the application form, providing all necessary personal, academic, and professional details. Required documents must also be uploaded.

Candidates should apply for the IIM Udaipur MBA program within the same application. After filling out the form, they can submit it along with the application fee.

Notes

• Some candidates may be placed on a waitlist in each cycle of admission.
• By March 15, 2025, a firm decision will be communicated to all such waitlisted candidates.
• The last date of granting admission is March 15, 2025 for the Academic Year 2025-2026 and no admission will be offered to any candidate after this date.

Admissions – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed a minimum of 10+2 years of school education and hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline with at least 50% marks or an equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). Applicants from SC, ST, and PwD categories require a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent CGPA. Additionally, candidates should have at least three years of bachelor’s level education following higher secondary schooling.

A valid GMAT Exam (10th Edition or Focus Edition), GRE score (taken at a Centre or at Home), or CAT score from tests conducted in 2021 or later is required, with scores not older than five years from the date of the exam. Candidates must also have a minimum of 36 months of full-time work experience (post-graduation) as of February 28, 2025.

Original Score Card Submission

Upon receiving an admission offer, candidates must provide their official GMAT (10th Edition or Focus Edition), GRE scorecards via http://mba.com/ or Educational Testing Service (ETS) as applicable. Important details include:

• Admission offers are provisional until the Institute receives and verifies the official score reports.
• For GMAT and GRE, the Institute will receive scorecards from the respective agencies 15-20 days after the request is made.
• The official GMAT or GRE scorecard must be submitted to IIM Udaipur within one month of the admission letter date.
• Any disputes regarding admissions for the MBA in GSCM / DEM Batch 2025-2026 will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Udaipur.

How to Apply for IIM Udaipur MBA (GCSM) & MBA (DEM)?

IIM Udaipur course admissions for  1-year MBA (GSCM) program can be filled by following the stepwise procedure as listed below:

1. Go to the official website of IIM Udaipur (https://www.iimu.ac.in/)
2. Click on ‘programmes’ from Menu Bar.
3. Select ‘One year MBA (GSCM) or MBA (DEM)’ programme.
4. On the subsequent page, click on ‘Apply Portal’.
5. Register by providing the valid email id and phone number.
6. Login using the registered email and password.
7. Fill the application form with all the required details and upload the necessary documents
8. Pay an Application fee of INR 2000 /- via Credit Card/Debit Card.
9. Lastly, submit the application form.

International Admission

Admission policy for International Applicants

• A foreign national holding a passport other than India will be treated as a “Foreign National” and can apply under the International Applicant category.

• An Indian national passport holder will be treated as an “Overseas Candidate” and can apply under International category only if the candidate has resided outside India for a minimum of 18 months in the last 36 months.

Interested applicants may note the following:

• The admission process and conditions of eligibility etc., as they apply to domestic applicants, will also apply to International Applicants.
• The fee payable by the International Applicants is the same as applicable to the domestic candidates.
• Considering the time duration required to apply for a visa for non-Indian origin applicants, IIMU follows a rolling evaluation process for them. Irrespective of the admission cycles, their application would be evaluated within six weeks from the date of their application.

• Online classes will be held with a frequency of seven sessions per week.
• Each session will last for 90 minutes, followed by a Q&A/tutorial segment.
• Classes are scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays, with two additional sessions planned for late evenings on weekdays.
