2024 Placements (Ongoing) Highlights

• As of the first week of May 2024, approximately 30 out of 297 students remain unplaced.
• The highest CTC offered so far is ₹32.5 LPA by Amazon, while the lowest is ₹9 LPA by Travelbullz India.
• Sales and Marketing roles have seen the most offers to date, a trend expected to persist through the placement season.
• Axis Bank has emerged as the leading recruiter with over 15 offers, followed by Cordelia Cruise with more than 10 offers.
• Over 120 companies have participated in the placement process, with efforts ongoing to include additional companies for the remaining unplaced students.
• The placement process is unified for both the MBA and MBA – Tourism Management courses.
• Around 30 companies have offered packages in the ₹9 to ₹12 LPA range, while the majority have offered between ₹14 and ₹16 LPA.
• The percentage of students receiving Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) remains low, at approximately 13%, continuing to be a challenge for IIM Sirmaur this year.
• There have been 3 international roles offered so far: RAK Ceramics (Middle East), Africare Consulting (Kenya), and TravelBullz (Thailand).

IIM Sirmaur Placements 2023

IIM Sirmaur placements for the year 2023 were highly successful, with more than 125 companies offering a total of 243 jobs to 224 students. Additionally, 13 Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) were extended to students. The BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector saw the highest number of placements, accounting for 40% of the total.

The institute also recorded a significant increase in its highest package, which reached INR 64.12 LPA, marking a 142% increase. The average package and median package also saw notable growth, rising by 13% and 6%, respectively. The average package at IIM Sirmaur stood at INR 14.45 LPA, while the median package was INR 13 LPA.

IIM Sirmaur has also released its Summer Internship Report for the batch of 2022-24. Out of 230 participating students, the highest stipend offered was INR 1.70 Lakhs. The average stipend and median stipend remained at INR 50,000 and INR 40,000, respectively.
