IIM Sirmaur MBA Admission Process 2025
Admissions to the MBA programs at IIM Sirmaur for the 2025 intake are based on CAT scores, followed by a Personal Interview (CAP & SAP Round). The first shortlisting for the MBA and MBA (Tourism Management) programs is based on the CAT score. The cutoff for the MBA program is 94 percentile, and for the MBA (Tourism Management) program, it is 80 percentile for general category students.
The next step involves the Common Admission Process (CAP) or Supernumerary Admission Process (SAP), which includes a PI round for shortlisted candidates. Final admissions are determined based on CAT scores, PI scores, academic profiles, work experience, diversity, and trailblazer scores.
CAT is a national-level exam for admission into MBA courses. This year, approximately 3.28 lakh students registered for the CAT exam, and around 2.88 lakh students appeared for it. Following this, the Common Admission Process (CAP) is conducted, which is a consortium of 10 IIMs: IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Jammu, IIM Kashipur, IIM Nagpur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Tiruchirappalli, and IIM Udaipur. In this process, a single IIM conducts personal interviews each year, and the scores are shared with all participating IIMs. This year, CAP is coordinated by IIM Kashipur.
