IIIT Allahabad Scholarships

1. POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS for SC/ST Categories

   • Executed by / Funded by: Govt. of India, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment
   • Period: Till period of study (Subject to the Students performance)
   • Number of Scholarships: All Eligible Students
   • Amount of Scholarships (per month): Full Fees + Rs. 1200- p.m. for 10 months (maintenance allowance)
   • Remarks If any: For SC/ST students (Paid by native State)

2. POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS OF U.P. GOVT. for OBC/General/Minority Categories

   • Executed by / Funded by: Uttar Pradesh Govt.
   • Period: Till period of study (Subject to the Students performance)
   • Number of Scholarships: All Eligible Students
   • Amount of Scholarships (per month): B.TECH/MBA-40,000 + Rs. 740- p.m. for 10 months (maintenance allowance)
   • Remarks If any: General + OBC + Minority Category Students (not for M.Tech)

3. INSTITUTE MERIT Award

   • Executed by / Funded by: Paid by Institute (IIIT-Allahabad)
   • Period: Till period of study (Subject to the Students performance)
   • Number of Scholarships: MBA – 04
   • Amount of Scholarships (per month): Rs. 3,000/- p.m. for 12 months a year
   • Remarks If any: Eligibility: on the basis of merit in Annual Exam

4. MINORITY SCHOLARSHIP

   • Executed by / Funded by: Ministry of Minority Affairs, GoI
   • Period: Till period of study (Subject to the Students performance)
   • Number of Scholarships: Eligible UG / PG Students
   • Amount of Scholarships (per month): Rs. 30,000/- for Hostellers, Rs. 25,000/- for Day Scholars
   • Remarks If any: 1. Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, Jains 2. 50% Marks 3. 30% for Girls 4. Parent’s Income below Rs. 2.5 Lakhs

5. INDIAN OIL SCHOLARSHIP

   • Executed by / Funded by: Indian Oil Corporation, Govt. of India
   • Period: Till period of study (Subject to the Students performance)
   • Number of Scholarships: 60 No. for MBA on All India Basis
   • Amount of Scholarships (per month): Rs. 3,000/- p.m.
   • Remarks If any: 1. On All India Basis 2. 50% for SC/ST/OBC -60% marks 3. 25% for Girls – 60% marks 4. 10% for PHs – 50% marks 5. General – 65% marks

6. SCHOLARSHIPS FOR PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED

   • Executed by / Funded by: Govt. of India
   • Period: Till period of study (Subject to the Students performance)
   • Number of Scholarships: 500 new scholarships, Post Matric professional/technical Courses
   • Amount of Scholarships (per month): Day Scholars = 700 per month, Hostellers = 1,000 per month + Reimbursement of Course Fee = 10,000 per year
   • Remarks If any: 1. 40% or more disability 2. Pursuing Professional/Technical Courses 3. Parents Income = Rs. 15,000 per month

7. EARN-WHILE-YOU-LEARN

   • Number of Scholarships: Decided by authorities as admissible under the Projects
   • Amount of Scholarships (per month): Decided by authorities as admissible under the Projects
   • Remarks If any: Nature of Work: 1. Some Administrative, Academic and Project work in spare time to finance their studies 2. 150 Students benefited every year
