IIFPT Thanjavur offers three courses viz. four-year duration B.Tech course in Food Processing Engineering, M.Tech of two-year duration in two specialisations, and PhD program of a three-year term.

• The college offers an online mode of the application process to the candidates through the official website of the college.
• Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum 45% marks are considered eligible to join B.Tech Course.
• Admission to B.Tech program is made by JEE Main score.
• The minimum eligibility for M.Tech admission is candidates must have completed BE or B.Tech in relevant discipline with at least 70% marks in aggregate.
• Those who hold ME or M.Tech degree in any concerned discipline with minimum 70% marks are eligible for admission to the PhD program.
• Candidates are selected for admission to M.Tech and the PhD course by the applicant’s merit in the qualifying exam and marks obtained in the written test and interview round.

Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology offers full-time B.Tech course of four-year duration in Food Processing Engineering with the intake of 60 students.

• The minimum eligibility requirement for the course is candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum 55% marks. Admission to B.Tech is made by JEE Main score.

Out of 60 seats in the course 29 are reserved for open category candidates, 16 for OBC-NCL, 2 for open category physically handicapped, 9 for SC, and 4 for ST candidates.

IIFPT Thanjavur M.Tech Admission 2018

Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology offers an M.Tech program of two-year duration in two disciplines with a minimum intake of 20 students at All India Level.

• Candidates who have completed BE or B.Tech degree in either of these disciplines Agricultural Engineering/ Food Process Engineering /Agricultural and Food Engineering / Food Processing and Preservation Technology / Food Technology and Management / Food Technology /Chemical Engineering/ Dairy Engineering with minimum 70% aggregate are considered eligible to join the course.
• Admission to the program is given by the candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination and marks obtained in the written test.

Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology offers PhD in Food Processing Engineering, and the program is of three-year duration with ten seats in total for all India level.

• Candidates who have completed ME or M.Tech course with minimum 70% marks in disciplines like Post Harvest Technology/ Food Process Engineering/ Agricultural and Food Engineering/ Food Science and Technology/ Dairy and Food Engineering/ Agricultural Process Engineering/ Chemical Engineering.
• Admission to the program is given based on the applicant’s merit in Post-Graduation and marks obtained in Written Test and Interview round.

• Fill in the displayed form.
• Pay the application fee of INR 600 (INR 300 for the reserved category) through Net Banking, Credit or Debit card.
• Complete the form and get the registration number.
• Take out the hard copy of the form attach the mandatory documents.
• Submit it via the post.
