The Indian Academy Group of Institutions offers multiple courses such as M.Sc, M.Com, at the PG level in different branches of Science, Commerce & Humanities.

To be eligible for admissions to the PG program in Microbiology, candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

Graduates in the fields of Agricultural Sciences, Dairy Sciences, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries, Pharmacy, Engineering (Biotechnology), Medicine / Dental, Agricultural Engineering, Clinical Lab Techniques can also apply for M.Sc. Microbiology program.

	Physics	He/she must hold a B.Sc. degree from Bangalore University or any other reputed university holding equivalent value, in any life science subjects, with an average minimum of 50% marks in all the optional subjects.
	Computer Science	He/she must have completed B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and should have obtained an average minimum of 50% marks throughout the under graduations course or should have completed B.Sc. PCM with PG Diploma / Certificate in Computer Science.
M.Com	General	Candidate should have passed. Com/B.B.M/BBS and BBA degree or any other equivalent examination, with an average minimum of 50% marks (45% marks) in commerce subjects throughout the course.
	Financial Analysis	He/she must have completed UG and PG degree in Commerce/Accounting/Management/Economics of Karnataka University or any other reputed university with an average minimum of 50% marks in all the commerce subjects during the programs.
	International Business	He/she must have completed UG AND PG degree in Commerce/Accounting/Management/Economics of Karnataka University or any other reputed university with an average minimum of 50% marks in all the compulsory subjects during the programs.
Integrated MTTM	–	He/she must have completed a senior secondary school/PUC from Karnataka State or any other reputed university holding equivalent value, with an average minimum of 50% marks in all the optional subjects.
MA	English	He/she must have completed graduation with an aggregate of 40% marks in the optional subjects and 50% marks in the main subjects.
MA	Economics	He/she must have completed UG or PG course from any reputed university holding equivalent value, with an average minimum of 50% marks in Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Social Sciences, Engineering and Technology.

Admission Key Points:

For admission to Biotechnology, students who have passed B.Sc. Biotechnology/B.Sc. Biotechnology integrated programs and have secured an average minimum of 50% marks are also eligible OR Candidates who hold a B.Sc. Hons. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Botany, zoology or biology with an average minimum of 50% marks for the optional subject can also apply.
Candidates with 50% marks in UG degree such as Bachelor of Agriculture, Dairy Science, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries, Pharmacy, Engineering, Biotechnology, Medicine, Dental, Agricultural and Clinical Lab techniques are also eligible to apply.

Indian Academy Group of Institutions, Bangalore Reservation Criteria 2023

The group follows the reservation as per the guidelines issued by the Government.

Seats are reserved in each program for Physically handicapped / Ex-Service men / Sports Persons / Other state candidates.
To avail admission to a reserved seat, an applicant must be able to produce all the required documents at the time of final admission.

Indian Academy Merit Scholarships: It is an annual course-based scholarship offered to the meritorious students (topper in each stream) for a period of one year.

Indian Academy Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships: It is a Merit-cum-Means Scholarships awarded for a period of 2-year for Pre-University courses and PG courses whereas for 3-year for UG courses.
