About IFIM Hostel:

The hostel is located on a lush two acres campus near the main campus. Transportation to and from the hostel is available at the campus. The hostel campus is completely Wi-fi enabled and has well equipped spacious rooms, made available on first-come-first-serve basis.
Facilities for indoor and outdoor sports like Football, Cricket, Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess, Shuttle Badminton and Gym are made available for the students. The hostel assures a comfortable stay for the students during study. The facilities make hostel a home away from home.

Events at IFIM

• Naman

Naman is a National Level Management and Cultural fest of IFIM B-School. It offers a platform for post graduate and graduate students from management institutions to showcase their skills in functional areas of business and cultural activities.

Participants can compete against the best talent drawn from across various institutes. Moreover, it also provides the aspiring future managers a platform to cabinet their skills such as public speaking, analytical, quick thinking and cultural talent. Side by side, a platform for the students to apply their theoretical knowledge into practical scenario.

• Convergence

Convergence is an annual International Conference organized by IFIM Business School for more than a decade. It serves as a platform for academia and industry to discuss and present research papers, publications and enables discussion amongst academicians, researchers and industry practitioners on trending topics. Over the past few years, convergence has covered vast topics such as:

• Confluence

Confluence is a corporate summit to deliberate upon the trends and emerging challenges faced by management professionals. “Transform to get the industry Edge’ is the theme of IFIM Business School. In alignment with our theme, IFIM collaborates with diverse sectors thus adding to the pool of new corporate energumens year after year.

Centre for continuous employability (CCE) department of IFIM, has designed a quarterly event named as confluence, which bonds both the corporate fraternity and academia to ponder upon current topics of business excellence.

• Kanyathon

Kanyathon is a charity fund raiser, a 5 km run which is organized by IFIM Business School in association with S.A.F.E (Students against Female Exploitation), an organization formed by the students of IFIM. Kanyathon’s main objective is to create awareness against exploitation of girls and to promote women’s empowerment.

Over the years, Kanyathon has evolved from an awareness campaign to a successful fund raiser, thanks to increasing participation from all parts of the city and sometimes even from other parts of the country. Kanyathon has added another feather to its cap by organizing a 10K run in the professional category.

• Daan Utsav

A noble cause is one that we believe will eventually do some good for society. This is exactly what the students of IFIM B-School have undertaken. The college’s CSR team has taken upon itself by organising a week-long event to celebrate Daan Utsav.

Daan Utsav, a festival which celebrates the joy of giving. Every year the students of IFIM goes out of their way to help the needy, and this goes on for a week and the student committee collect clothes, toys and food in large number.

The CSR club students came up with initiatives named SEVA SANDWICH, where our dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers prepared hand-made sandwiches and distributed to poor and underprivileged people of Hulimangala village near the IFIM College Hostel, Uphaar, Footprint, raising smiles, manzer etc., to name a few.

Life at IFIM

The Business School gives students the support, skills, knowledge and experience to make the successful transition from course to career. While academic learning helps students develop their subject knowledge, the vibrant student life at IFIM helps them understand the application of that knowledge in a practical sense.

Through research projects, cultural performances and industry associations, students experience a vibrant industry connect supported by projects, corporate mentoring, industry visits, guest lectures and industry-academia collaborative events.
