IBS Gurgaon leaves no stone unturned to prepare the students for the industry and make them placement ready. The institute believe that it is very important to understand the recruiters’ perspective to be able to prepare the management aspirants to fulfil the organisational needs.

The campus has a dedicated placement team which stays in touch with the corporates all the year round, not only for placements but for various activities that help to meet the recruiter’s expectations. We try to understand the requirements of the recruiters, as well as their challenges to make the new recruits ready to deliver. We also invite recruiters to be partners with us in as many ways as possible, through our Practicing Managers initiative, MOUs, Joint Certification Programs, Summer Internships, Mock Interviews, Guest Lectures, Alumni Interaction and more.

The campus also has a team of dedicated counsellors who identify students that need an extra push in the areas of communication, business etiquettes, attitude or confidence. These students are mentored one on one to help them overcome their respective areas of concern. Students are trained in Aptitude Tests, Advanced Excel and Psychometric tests for that extra edge.

Since its inception, the Gurgaon campus has consistently achieved over 90% placement every year. This year, the class of 2024 achieved an exceptional 95% placement rate.

Primarily, the positions are for Management Trainees across various sectors for fresher’s and senior roles for those with relevant work experience based on their previous positions.

The majority of placements, approximately 73%, come from sectors such as Financial Services (28%), Consulting (20%).  Banking (11%), IT/ITES (14%), and The remaining 27% come from industries like Infra/Telecom/Real  estate, Media & Research, hospitality, education, manufacturing, and others.

Function-wise Placements Details

The placements are distributed as follows: Finance 49.4%, Marketing 43.3%, with the remainder allocated to HR, Operations and IT & Systems.
