Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth University provides undergraduate programs in B.Sc. Nursing, P.B.B.Sc. Nursing, B.P.T., and B. Optometry.

Eligibility Criteria:

For B.Sc. Nursing, candidates should have completed 10+2 in the science stream with a minimum of 45% marks in PCBE subjects.

For P.B.B.Sc. Nursing, candidates must have completed the General Nursing and Midwifery course.

In the case of B.P.T. Physiotherapy, candidates should have passed 10+2 with PCB subjects with the required marks.

For B. Optometry, candidates must have completed class 12th or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in PCB/M&E subjects.

Admission to these undergraduate courses is based on the AIAHCET score.

D.Y. Patil University (DPU) provides M.Sc., M.P.T., and M. Optometry as part of its PG programs. To qualify for M.Sc. Nursing, candidates must hold a B.Sc. Nursing degree. For M.P.T., a B.P.T. qualification is required, while for M. Optometry, candidates must possess a B. Optometry or equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% marks. Admission to these programs is based on the candidates’ respective Entrance Test scores.

Key Note:

For M. Optometry, candidates must have attained the age of 22 years by December 31st of the admission year.

D.Y. Patil University (DPU) offers undergraduate programs such as B.Tech with specialisations in Biotechnology and Medical Biotechnology, as well as B.B.A. The minimum eligibility criteria for B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Medical Biotechnology require candidates to have passed Class 12th or its equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks in the relevant subjects. For B.B.A., candidates must have completed Class 12th from any stream with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

Admission to the B.Tech. program is based on the candidate’s performance in the AIBTCET. As for B.B.A., candidates need to appear for an Entrance Test.

Note:

Candidates belonging to the ST/SC category will receive a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks.

At the postgraduate level, the university offers M.Tech with Integrated Biotechnology, M.Sc. with Biotechnology, and M.B.A with 10 specialisations.

For M.Tech Integrated Biotechnology, candidates must have passed XII Std. or equivalent with PCB/Life Sciences with a minimum of 45% marks in PCB subjects.

For M.Sc. Biotechnology, candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline. For MBA, candidates must hold a graduate degree in any discipline.

Admission to the M.Tech program will be based on the score obtained in AIBTCET. For M.Sc. Biotech, admission will be based on AIPGBET, and for MBA, it will be based on CAT / MAT / XAT / CMAT / ATMA score followed by GD/PI.

Note:

Candidates belonging to the ST/SC category will receive a 5% relaxation in aggregate marks. The Admission Processing Fees for MBA is INR 750, payable by DD drawn in favor of “The Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune,” and payable at Pune.
