1. Eligibility to Apply for Admission to PDM

• A minimum of a 3-year Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/Differently Abled candidates) from a recognised University/Institute approved by UGC or AICTE. Students who are appearing for their final year degree examination may also apply.
• A valid score in CAT 2024, XAT 2025, GMAT, CMAT 2025, or MAT (Sep 2024 or later) for 2025 admissions.

Please Note:

• Admissions Notification will be issued in November 2024.
• The application form must be submitted online by the specified deadline. Meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee automatic admission to the program.

2. Requirements to Complete the Application:

• Valid Registration Number of one of the Management Admission Tests (CAT 2024, XAT 2025, GMAT, CMAT 2025, MAT [Sep 2024 or later]) for 2025 admissions.
• Valid ID Proof (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport/Driving License/Voter Card).

3. Documents to Upload:

• Scanned copy of your signature in blue/black ink on a white background (in .jpg/.jpeg/.png format, file size not exceeding 3MB).
• Scanned copy of a recent passport-size color photograph (in .jpg/.jpeg/.png format, file size not exceeding 3MB).

4. Sponsored Candidates:

• Sponsored candidates must submit a supporting sponsorship letter from the sponsoring organisation when accepting the admission.

5. Steps to Fill the Online Application Form:

• Step 1: Register with a valid email ID and mobile number for verification and future correspondence.
• Step 2 & 3: Complete the form using the Application Number and password provided in your email.

6. Requirements During Form Submission:

• Photograph in JPEG/PNG format (max 2MB).
• Signature in JPEG/PNG format (max 2MB).
• Management Admission Test registration details (CAT 2024, XAT 2025, GMAT, CMAT 2025, or MAT [Sep 2024 or later]).

8. Payment of Application Fee:

• After completing Step 1, an auto-generated Application Number will be provided to the applicants. This will be sent to your email (check both inbox and spam folder).

• No changes can be made to the application form after submission, so ensure all information is correct and complete before final submission.

A. Admissions to DMI are based on merit, and the top 60 candidates (considering the Bihar reservation policy for educational institutions) with the highest marks will be offered admission to the PGDM (DM) programme.

Q. Which scorecard will be considered if I provide more than one scorecard?

A. If multiple scorecards are provided, the Institute will consider the scorecard in which the candidate has achieved the highest score. The candidate will need to confirm this on the selection day (GD & PI), or the Institute will use the highest valid score for the particular admissions year.

Q. Is there any possibility of an online interview for the selection process?

A. The selection process (GD & PI) is expected to be conducted offline for the 2025-27 admissions. However, in case of unforeseen circumstances, DMI may opt for an online selection process for all candidates. DMI does not cover any travel expenses incurred by candidates attending the selection process in person at DMI or other venues.

Q. Where will the Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) be conducted?

A. The GE/PI will primarily take place at the institute’s premises on the second floor of Udyog Bhawan, Patna, Bihar.

A. DMI focuses on experiential learning, providing students with hands-on experience through three distinct modules during the two-year programme. The three phases of Experiential Learning are:

• Development Immersion (DI) – 5 weeks: Involves first-hand experience of working in various development contexts.
• Enterprise Learning (EL) – 6 weeks: Focuses on understanding the functional aspects of governance and managing enterprises, resources, and institutions.
• Management Internship (MI) – 10 weeks: Engages students in projects related to livelihoods promotion, community development, cooperative/social enterprises, or government/civil society organizations, including Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
