Admissions Selection Criteria
Admissions at the Development Management Institute (DMI), Patna, are based on a merit list that considers the candidate’s entrance exam score, academic performance, extracurricular activities, personal interview, and group exercises. DMI Patna PGDM Admission Process 2025:
The admission process for the PDM program begins with an Admissions Notification issued by the Institute, which will be published in newspapers, other print and electronic media, and on the Institute’s website. This notification is typically released in November for the batch starting in July 2025.
All applications for admission must be submitted online and completed according to the instructions provided on the Institute’s website. Incomplete or late applications will be rejected, and the Institute will not entertain any requests to reconsider such applications. Additionally, applications from candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria will not be considered, and no requests for reconsideration will be accepted.
The DMI Admissions Committee will set category-wise cut-offs for CAT 2024, XAT 2025, GMAT, MAT (Sep. 2024 or later), and CMAT 2025 scores to shortlist applicants for the selection process.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to Patna for the Selection Process, which includes the Assessment of Writing Skills, Group Activity, and Personal Interview. The dates, times, and venue for the selection process will be communicated to candidates via email, phone call, or SMS as provided in their online application.
The merit list will be prepared in accordance with the reservation policy applicable to educational institutions in Bihar.
- The selection process is set to begin in February 2025.
