DOMS IIT Roorkee Cut off (CAT) 2023
The MBA programs at DoMS IIT Roorkee consider CAT scores for admissions. Initially, candidates are shortlisted based on the institute’s predetermined CAT cutoff. Subsequently, the institute conducts its own Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds for the shortlisted candidates. Eligibility criteria for the program include a first-class or 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PD) in Graduation or any equivalent qualification recognized by UGC from a recognized University. Candidates’ eligibility is further assessed based on various parameters such as CAT Percentile, Group Discussion performance, Interview performance, and Work Experience. Ultimately, IIT Roorkee releases a final merit list containing the names of candidates eligible for admission. The minimum qualifying percentile score for admission to DoMS IIT Roorkee is set at 90+ percentile.

DoMS IIT Roorkee MBA 2024 Selection process
Candidates who want to enroll in the MBA program at DoMS IIT Roorkee will be selected based on their performance in the CAT 2023 exam in the first round. The cut-off score decided by the Department of Management Studies, IIT Roorkee will be considered final for shortlisting candidates. The final merit list will be prepared based on the aggregate performance of candidates in the CAT exam, along with their performance in the Group Discussion, Interview, and Work Experience, as per the weightage assigned.
For General Category Students

Final year students of relevant undergraduate programs who are eligible can apply for the MBA program. They must provide a certificate as per the Performa given in Annexure-2A & 2B during the Interview/GD.

If final exam results are not available at the time of GD/PI due to a delay in the announcement of results, candidates may be allowed to appear based on their aggregate results in the pre-final year. However, the percentage should not be lesser than specified under essential requirements.

Candidates must provide proof of having passed the qualifying exam with the required percentage or CGPA by the specified dates.

Full-time sponsored candidates must have a minimum of two years of work experience in a relevant field. The sponsoring organisation must be a public sector undertaking, a public limited company registered in a stock exchange, or a private concern with an annual turnover exceeding Rs. 5 crores during the past two years.

The educational institution should be recognised by AICTE, and candidates must submit Annexure-3, duly filled by the sponsoring institution.
For Reserved Category Students
- OBC candidates must provide a photocopy of the category certificate in the format specified on the institute’s website. The OBC Non-creamy layer certificate must have been issued after 31.03.2018 by a competent authority.
- SC/ST/PD candidates must provide the necessary certificate from a competent authority, as per Annexure-1 on the prescribed format by the Government of India, at the time of Interview/GD.
- Candidates must send photocopies of their certificates along with the completed application form.
