The registration window for DTU’s B.Tech for Lateral Entry, M.Design, PhD Summer, MBA (BA), M.Tech, B.Design, and International Admissions has officially closed. To secure admission at DTU and secure a spot in these programs, students must have a JEE Mains general category rank that falls within the top 10,000. This requirement essentially translates to a JEE Mains score that places them in the top 99.2 percentile or higher.

Admission to DTU’s full-time B.Tech program is determined by the All India Rank (AIR) achieved in the JEE-Mains. For the BTech (Lateral Entry) program at DTU, candidates’ scores in the State Diploma Examination are the key deciding factor. Postgraduate programs at DTU Delhi, on the other hand, require GATE scores for admission. The Bachelor of Design degree at DTU is accessible based on the results of the UCEED exam. To secure admission into DTU’s MBA program, successful completion of the Common Admission Test (CAT) is essential, followed by participation in a group discussion and interview.

In the 2022 DTU placement season, the highest package offered reached INR 64.23 LPA, while the average salary at DTU stood at INR 15.16 LPA. Notably, there were a total of 413 job offers exceeding INR 20 LPA, and prominent employers such as Adobe, Amazon, Palantir, and other significant organisations were part of the placement drive.

DTU also provides hostel accommodations for its students. The allocation of hostels is based on the information provided in the ‘Permanent Address’ field during the admissions process. Due to limited hostel space availability, these accommodations are reserved exclusively for full-time, bona fide DTU students. To secure a place in the hostel, applicants are encouraged to apply promptly upon acceptance to the institute. DTU boasts four girls’ hostels and eight boys’ dormitories.
