Admission for undergraduate level B.Tech courses candidates are shortlisted based on JEE Mains scores followed by counselling process. For the undergraduate-level Integrated BBA(H) + B.Tech, B.Com (H)+ B.Tech, B.Tech+ M.Tech in Engineering System, B.Tech+ MBA courses candidates are shortlisted based on JEE Mains scores followed by counselling process.
Also for undergraduate-level part-time B.Tech courses candidates are shortlisted based on JEE Mains scores followed by counselling process.
Hence, Dayalbagh Educational Institute cut off is declared after the declaration of JEE Mains scores. In addition to that, for Undergraduate level, B.Arch courses candidates are selected on the basis of marks scored in NATA followed by a Drawing Test and an Interview.
Whereas for the Postgraduate level both full-time and part-time M.Tech, M.Tech (Electrical)+ Ph.D. and M.Tech (Mechanical)+ Ph.D courses candidates are admitted to the course based on GATE scores or students can opt for an alternative test that is the Written Test conducted by DEI Uttar Pradesh.
Thus, Dayalbagh Educational Institute cut off is declared after the declaration of GATE scores. Furthermore, to the Postgraduate level, both part-time and full-time Ph.D courses candidates having 75% marks in BE or B.Tech in relevant discipline with at least one year of relevant work experience can apply.
However, for Undergraduate level diploma courses candidates are shortlisted for the program based on the marks scored in 12th examinations only.
B.Tech part-time Electrical Engineering course is available for male candidates only. All applicants for Undergraduate level courses should not be more than 21 years of age at the time of admission. During admission in all undergraduate courses 20% seats in supersymmetry, a division is offered on the basis of a decision made by Director, Admission Committee.
Such applicants who apply for any UG or PG course but could not succeed to secure admission gets a chance to get their applications transferred to the Diploma programs with respect to the eligibility criteria.
