Birla Institute of Technology BIT, established in the year 1997 is a technological institute located at Lalpur, Ranchi in the state of Jharkhand.
At the UG Level, BIT Lalpur offers BBA and BCA program. At the PG level, the college offers MCA, MBA, and M.Sc. program.

- Admission to MCA is made by BIT MCA conducted by the Institution.
- For M.Sc., candidates should have passed B.Sc. degree with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks are considered eligible for admission.
- Admission to the M.Sc. is made by marks secured in the qualifying examination.
