University Library: The library offers a vast collection of 200,000 books, periodicals, and journals, both in print and electronic formats, including online subscriptions to IEEE, INDEST, Science Direct, Bentham, and more.
BBD FM Radio at 90.8 MHz: Babu Banarasi Das University operates its own community radio station, BBD FM at 90.8 MHz, to educate, sensitize, and disseminate knowledge to students and the community. The radio station is equipped with broadcasting, production, and recording facilities.
Sports Facilities: The campus stadium can accommodate over 20,000 spectators and hosts outdoor games such as cricket, football, hockey, and athletics (field and track events). Additionally, there are courts for volleyball, basketball, lawn tennis, and badminton. Indoor game facilities like table tennis, carom, and chess are available for hostel students.
Auditorium: The university boasts an air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 1000, featuring JBL acoustics, a cinemascope projector, and screen. It is utilised for cultural, technical, and academic events, as well as for screening entertainment and educational movies.
Health Services: The university provides ambulance services and has collaborations with reputable local hospitals and nursing homes for medical treatment. Hostellers are insured against hospitalisation expenses and accidental insurance.
Student’s Mall and Cafeteria: The mall is a two-story building housing a food court, stationery bookshop, salon, dispensary, and branded outfit shops.
Hostels: Accommodation in the hostels is provided on a twin/triple sharing basis, with each hostel equipped with a recreation room featuring television and indoor games facilities. The hostel fees are affordable for students.
Banking Facilities: The campus houses a full-fledged branch of Punjab National Bank with a 24×7 ATM facility.
Security: The university campus is secured with a 24×7 closed-circuit TV network and surveillance system, managed by security personnel equipped with wireless radio communication. Additionally, there is a police outpost adjoining the campus.
Temple: A magnificent white marble temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha is located at the entrance of the campus. The temple’s basement serves as a hall for yoga and meditation practices.
Transport Service: The university provides its own transportation service with over twenty coaches, catering to students and faculty from all parts of the town.
