Crescent University Admission is done through entrance exam conducted by the university or JEE marks are considered for Undergraduate level B.Tech courses. At the postgraduate level, the GATE scorecard adds value in the selection process for the M.Tech courses.
BSAU Chennai Admissions Highlights
- In the process of admission to the undergraduate level B.Tech courses, candidates are shortlisted based on BSAUEEE or JEE entrance exam scores. All applicants must have passed the 12th standard examination conducted by the State Board or CBSE or ICSE or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry to be eligible to apply for the course. Further, the candidates seeking admission for Biotechnology programmes need to have a minimum of 60% aggregate in Mathematics or Biology, Physics and Chemistry to apply for the course.
- For Postgraduate level, M.Tech course candidates are admitted to the program based on marks obtained in the GATE entrance examination. All applicants must have B.E. or B.Tech.in Engineering from a recognized university to be eligible to apply for their preferred course. - For Doctoral level PhD course, candidates are selected on the basis of Written test conducted by the institute and followed by an interview. Candidates having Master’s degree (M.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. (By Research) / M.Sc. / MA) or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the offering Schools or Departments can apply.
- For Doctoral level PhD course, candidates having Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or any other qualification from a recognized university can apply for the course.Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of R&D experience in National Research laboratories or Public sector undertakings and with a minimum of three publications in refereed journals or two patents are eligible to apply.
