BCECE 2025 Exam Information

The BCECE 2025 Exam will be held in the first week of July 2025 in offline mode. The application form will be available online starting from the third week of May 2025. BCECE is an entrance exam organized by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB).

This section provides the pre-examination and post-examination dates for BCECE 2025.

Pre-Examination Dates

The BCECE 2025 application form will be available from the third week of April 2025. Candidates must complete and submit the application form by the last week of May 2025. Payment of the application fee can be made online via debit/credit card.

The BCECE 2025 admit card will be accessible for download from the fourth week of June 2025. Once downloaded, candidates should print the admit card for future reference.

The BCECE 2025 exam will take place in the second or third week of July 2025. For reference, the 2024 exam was held on July 13th and 14th. The BCECE 2025 answer key will be released shortly after the exam.

Post-Examination Dates

The BCECE 2025 result will be announced in July 2025. Along with the result, the BCECE 2025 cutoff will be released. Candidates who meet the cutoff will proceed to the next steps.

Qualified candidates will be invited to participate in the BCECE 2025 counselling process, which is scheduled to begin in August 2025.

BCECE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Students must verify the BCECE 2025 eligibility criteria before appearing for the examination. The BCECE is regulated by the BCECE Board and is a state-level entrance exam held annually.

BCECE organizes the BCECE examination to screen students for admission to medical, pharmacy, agriculture, and other courses offered by various colleges and institutions across Bihar.

Domicile Criteria:

  • Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • The candidate should be a resident of Bihar state.
  • The candidate’s parents must be permanent residents of Bihar state.
  • Candidates whose parents are registered refugees of Bihar can also apply.
  • If the candidate’s parents are from another state but are government employees of Bihar, they are also eligible to apply.

Age Criteria:

  • Medical Courses: The candidate must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2025.
  • Pharmacy Courses: A minimum age of 17 years is required.
  • Agriculture Courses: The candidate must be at least 16 years old as of August 31, 2025.
  • For admissions, candidates must undergo a medical test. The candidate will be eligible for admission after passing this test.
  • There is no age limit for engineering courses.

Qualification Criteria:

For Pharmacy (4-year Course):

  • Qualifying Exam: The candidate must have passed intermediate or an equivalent exam from a recognized board.
  • Subjects: The candidate must have passed the qualifying exam with physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with one elective subject (either mathematics or biology).
  • Minimum Marks: A minimum of 45% marks (for general candidates) and 40% marks (for reserved candidates) in the intermediate or equivalent exam.
  • Candidates appearing for the 12th or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply but must have passed the exam by the time of counselling.

For Medical Courses:

  • Qualifying Exam: The candidate must have passed 10+2, higher secondary, or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • Subjects: The candidate must have passed the above exam with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
  • Candidates who are appearing for the exam can also apply.

BCECE 2025 Exam Pattern

BCECE 2025 Admit Card

Candidates need to log in using their credentials to download the admit card. The admit card includes essential details such as the candidate’s name, father’s name, category, venue, date, and date of birth.

It is mandatory for candidates to carry their admit cards on the day of the examination, as entry to the examination hall will not be permitted without it. The authority will only release the admit card for registered candidates.

  • How to Download Admit Card:

The Admit card is the only document you will need in the examination hall. In order to download the admit card, you need to follow the steps below:

  1. When the admit card is released, you shall receive the email about the ink you can download the admit card from.
  2. Click on the link
  3. Enter your registration number and password
  4. Click on download tab
  5. Print the downloaded admit card.

BCECE 2025 Result

The BCECE 2025 Result is scheduled to be announced in July, 2025. BCECE (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination) is a state-level entrance examination offering courses in Pharmacy and Agriculture. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) is responsible for conducting this examination. Successful candidates in this entrance exam will secure admissions to various institutions within Bihar state.

BCECE 2025 Result Date

The results will be announced starting from July 2025. The BCECE written exam is scheduled to take place on July 2025. The BCECE counselling for 2025 is set to commence in August 2025.

The counselling process will be conducted in multiple rounds online. Candidates will be invited for counselling based on the merit list prepared by the board.

How to Check Result

To access the results, candidates can follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official website (link provided above).
  2. Open the link and select the respective stream.
  3. Enter your roll number and date of birth.
  4. Click on the “Show Rank” button.
  5. The result will be displayed on the screen.
  6. Verify the result and print out the rank card.
  7. Retain the downloaded PDF for further procedures.

BCECE Merit List 2025

A separate merit list will be compiled based on candidates’ scores in the entrance exam. Factors such as the total number of applicants, the number of candidates who cleared the exam, and the cut-off marks will be considered in preparing the merit list.

To access the merit list, candidates will need to log in using their credentials (roll number and date of birth). Counselling invitations will be extended to candidates based on this prepared merit list. During counselling, seats will be allocated according to the candidate’s rank, seat availability, and preferences filled out by the candidates.

BCECE Rank Card 2025

The BCECE Rank Card 2025 will be available online. Candidates can obtain their rank cards starting from July 2025 for both PCB and PCM groups.

To check their ranks, candidates will need to input their roll number and date of birth. The board will publish candidates’ ranks along with the merit list.

Candidates must bring their rank cards for document verification during counselling. The board will also release the closing ranks of various participating colleges for the counselling rounds.

  • Counselling:

The candidates who qualify the examination shall subsequently appear for counselling. During this registration, the candidates need to enter their choice of college and course in the order of their preference. After this procedure of filling form and registering, candidates will be allotted seat which shall be displayed on their online portal. The provisional allotment letter will be issued that needs to be downloaded and submitted in the college along with the fees. The candidates must then report with their documents for verification at the date and time mentioned in the allotment letter. The counselling centre is held in the capital city of Patna, Bihar. BCECE Cutoff

The BCECE 2025 Cut Off will be published online by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). As the primary organising authority overseeing the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE), it administers this state-level exam for students aspiring to pursue fields such as pharmacy, agriculture, and others within Bihar State.
