In order to appoint officials to the post of both Assistant and Officer Cadre in Regional Rural Banks spread the nation, IBPS conducts IBPS RRB Exam annually. The selection of the candidates happen for the post of: Office Assistant, Marketing Manager, Treasury Manager, Officer Scale – I, Banking Officer Scale-II, Agriculture Officer (Grade – II), Law Officer (Grade – II), Law Officer (Grade – II), Chartered Accountant (Grade II), Officer (Grade III) and IT Officer (Grade II). IBPS RRB 2019 notification was up on the web by the first week of June.
The Online Application for IBPS RRB 2019 Office Assistant and Officers Scale-I, II and III, could be done from 18th June. IBPS has offered 8354 placement opportunities for IBPS RRB 2019 Exam. The number of opening for IBPS RRB 2018 was 5249 for Office Assistant and 3312 for Officer Grade.
IBPS RRB 2019 Exam dates have also been declared. The prelims will be on and from 3rd August till 25th August. The mains will take place on 22nd and 29th Sept.
Eligibility Criteria
The qualifying Candidates need to ensure that they satisfy the predefined qualification criteria before applying for the IBPS RRB 2019 Exam. Candidates need to understand that the qualification criteria indicated are the fundamental criteria for appointment to the aforementioned posts in the Regional Rural Banks under IBPS RRB. However simply applying for, qualifying in the exam and getting preliminary allotted in one of the RRBs never imply that a candidate will inevitably be eligible for employment in any of the Regional Rural Banks. It has been explicitly clarified that the ultimate authority for recruitment is the Regional Rural Bank itself. The RRB concerned has the full authority to reject the candidature of anyone provisionally allotted to it through the CRP.
Nationality/Citizenship
A candidate appearing for the test must be either – (I) a Citizen of India or (ii) has a valid passport of Nepal or Bhutan or (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who has arrived to India before first January 1962 with the aim of for all time settling in India or (v) an individual of Indian birthplace who has relocated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African nations of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (in the past Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the expectation of forever settling in India. - For Officer Scale-II (Manager)- Above 21 years – Below 32 years, for example, candidates should not have been born sooner than 03.06.1987 and later than 31.05.1998 (the two dates comprehensive)
- For Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)- Above 18 years – Below 30 years, for example, applicants ought not to have been born sooner than 03.06.1989 and later than 31.05.2001 (the two dates comprehensive)
- For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Between 18 years and 28 years, for example, an individual ought to have not been born sooner than 02.06.1991 and later than 01.06.2001 (the two dates comprehensive)
IBPS RRB 2019 Admit Card
IBPS RRB 2019 Admit card will be separately issued depending upon the post of RRB, i.e., Admit Card will be available separately for IBPS RRB PO, IBPS RRB Office Assistant & IBPS RRB Officer Grade II & III. Prelims Exam for IBPS RRB Office Assistant will take place on 11th, 18th & 25th August 2019. This time IBPS RRB 2019 will be released 10-15 days prior to the commencement of the Prelims Exam.
Test Pattern and IBPS RRB Syllabus
The IBPS RRB 2019 Exam Pattern is somewhat unique for both IBPS RRB 2019 Officer and IBPS RRB 2019 Assistant Exam. We should view the test example of both these tests independently.
IBPS RRB 2019 Officer Grade Exam is led in 3 distinct stages:
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
- Interview Process
The IBPS RRB syllabus follows same pattern every year. There are two segments in the prelims test. These are
- Thinking and
- Numerical capacity.
Each one of the segments has 40 marks allotted.
The mains paper has five areas each allotted with 40 marks. The segments are
- Thinking paper
- General Awareness Paper
- Numerical Ability Paper
- English/Hindi language
- PC Knowledge
The sections for mains may change depending on the post one has opted for.
Every one of the tests will be held through online mode and will be having the objective type questions. All areas (aside from English Language segment and Hindi Language segment) will be bilingual (for example will be asked in both English and Hindi). Result and recruitment
IBPS will announce the final lists once all the tests are over, for each phase for both Assistant and Officer Grade.
