'Than' and the case of pronouns
If transitive verb is present in a sentence, the pronoun that comes after than should be in the nominative or objective case. Meaning of these pronouns depend on the meaning of the sentence
1) I like you more than he. [more than he likes you]
2) I like you more than him. [more than I like him]
If intransitive verb is present in a sentence, the pronoun that comes after than, should be in nominative case
1) He is taller than she.
2) She is better than he.
3) She is better than I.
