Find Last Digit of the given expression->
1!+2!..................324!
Sol:- After 4! every factorial ends in a Zero. So no matter how many factorials we add. The last digit can be determined by 1!+2!+3!+4! = 1+2+6+24 = 33.
So here the last digit will be 3.
Note:- 5! = 120
Therefore all the factorials from then end with a Zero.

Rocker sir plz keep this thread alive by posting questions........
Thanks a ton.......
1. Answer = Cost Price is 600 rs
2. answer = cost of table = 360, Cost Of chair = 240
@ Deeps plz let me know if answers are correct.......
and keep posting questions...... Thanks
PS = if my answers are correct . then both the questions can be solve by simple linear equations..
Thanks

Hi;
We get 2 Equations. as per the question solving which we get the req. ans.
(s-c)/c = 20/100 ............................(1)
(s-100)-(c-100)=(c-100)(104/100).....(2)
Solve simultaneous eq. to get the ans..
'Q2 a person sells his table at a profit of 25/2% and the chair at a loss of 25/3% but on the whole he gains rs 25 . on the other hand if he sells the table at a loss of 25/3% and the chair at a profit of 25/2% then he neither gain nor loss
find the cost price .'
Let CP be x,y respectively::again 2 simultaneous equations:-
x(1+25/200) + y(1-25/300) - (x+y) =25......(1)
x(1-25/300) + y(1+25/200) = (x+y)............(2)

TO number the pages of a book exactly 300 digits were used. How many pages did the book have????????
ailuroph0bic SaysTO number the pages of a book exactly 300 digits were used. How many pages did the book have????????
Hi the answer will go like this
For the first nine pages i used - 9 digits
From 10 to 99 i used = 90*2= 180
so total digits consumed till now= 189 (180+9)
Left after this one= 300-189= 111
So more pages= 111/3= 37
So total pages= 99+37= 136

DUDE post some questions....... we have to keep this thread alive........
1. N=204*221*238*255*............................*850
2. N=36!^36!
3. N=7*14*21*..........................*777.
4.Find the Remainder When 7+77+777+7777+.....(till 100 terms) is divided by 8
5. How many times does the digit 6 appears when we counts from 11 to 400
6. how many numbers having 8 as a digit from 11 to 400.
these all question are from NUMBER SYSTEM. try the easiest way to solve them.:clap:

5. How many times does the digit 6 appears when we counts from 11 to 400
IS it 79....?????(Done by cumbersome counting)
6.how many numbers having 8 as a digit from 11 to 400.
79 - 4 = 75(four cases subtracted are 88,188,288,38

Plz tell the answers..
Thanks and Regards

4.Find the Remainder When 7+77+777+7777+.....(till 100 terms) is divided by 8
7/8 = 7
77/8 = 5
777/8 = 1
7777/8 = 1
and so on .....
so we have to calculate (7+5 +1+1.........)/8 = 110/8 = 6
so answer is 6.......
Plz let me know is it correct?????????

Sol:- the extra 25 kg is obtained because of 10% reduction in price i.e. 10% of 225 = Rs. 22.50
Reduced price per kg = 22.50/25= Rs 0.90
10% reduction in price means you pay 90% of the original price.
90% of original price = 0.90/kg
original price=Rs 1/kg.
