Hi, I am getting PGDM Marketing at IMT Ghaziabad and BM at XIMB. If I will go to XIMB then also I will take Marketing as my majors. So, I am confused between these two colleges.
Please give your suggestions. As IMT is well known for Marketing but recently, rankings and placements of XIMB are better than XIMB.
So, put your thoughts on this.

I do not have a say in what college you would choose, so i would suggest that you do your research before making a final decision.
Although I would suggest you not only look at the placement report but the faculties, the diversity and the culture that all colleges follow as MBA is more than just placements.

go for imt gzb as it is better known than ximb. Also, its proximity to India’s capital can land you better offers than ximb. Besides, ximb has domicile quota and that has been hampering the batch quality for a while now.

Waah bhai gazab ka knowledge hai aapka. If domicile is hampering XIMB then it should also hamper JBIMS as it have more domicile quota. And let me bring to your knowledge IMT is an older college than XIMB and also have location advantage still it can’t beat XIMB in terms of placement and job roles offered. For better understanding do some research about both the college as all information is available on their respective website. Do improve your quality before commenting on quality of other students.

If I pay 2l for seat acceptance in HRM and 50k for waitlisting in BM, and I receive the BM seat at a later date, can the 2l from HRM be transferred to BM? I mean it is within the same university, so it should be possible, right? Could anyone from the team clarify on this?
Also, can we expect movement of waitlist in first week of May?
Yes, this has happened in the past too and the fees were adjusted accordingly.
Still, we would suggest you to mail or ask this concern at the admission office for better clarification and surety.
