Is there any kind of fees to stay on the waiting list for BM? If so, when should we pay it? If I convert BM from the waitlist, will the fees be refunded to me? If I pay the provisional admission acceptance fees of ₹ 2 lakhs for HRM, and then I convert BM, can the same amount be transferred from HRM to BM? Again, really sorry to bother you with so many questions.
Hi @spxtfxre69,
Congratulations on making it till here !
You must have received a mail or will be receiving a mail from the admission office stating all the details regarding payment and other policies.
All the best !
Congratulations on your conversion!
During Summers, students would be on their Summer Internship programs which is a mandate for the course curriculum. Apart from that, the classrooms and the Academic buildings are air-conditioned.
What about the hostels? I was not able to see any mention of the hostel rooms being air conditioned on the website. And can you please tell us about the availability of the hostels for the first year students.
Thanks in advance.
You must have received a mail or will be receiving a mail soon from admission office stating the details of hostel.
All the best !
@Madhav_23 @Tamanna_Pattnaik how much waitlist movement can we expect based on previous year trends??
I know it depends on alot of moving factors so it is difficult to predict, but any rough idea?? Like what was the last waitlist number that converted last year.
Hi @Ishan_Draws,
I cannot tell for sure as the list it very dynamic. I would suggest you wait for more lists and keep a check on your mailbox.
All the best !
Thanks a lot. I did receive a mail from SHRM for the MBA-HRM program, which I have converted, but I am yet to receive any communication from XIMB regarding the waitlist procedure for the MBA-BM program. Is there any kind of fees that is required to be paid to be kept on the waitlist? Thanks again.
afaik, the waitlist number that converted last year is around 200 for domicile and 300-400 for non domicile
@Tamanna_Pattnaik @Madhav_23 I converted MBA-HRM. Now regarding hostel, I read in the letter the rooms are non-AC. Will there be installation of AC’s in hostels in the near future? The summers in Bhubaneshwar are too hot to survive without AC’s.
Hello @Prasen_Bandyopadhyay @Peeyush_Vashishtha,
There are no AC rooms in the hostels. The weather gets quite pleasant by the time your term starts. The classrooms and libraries are fully air-conditioned, where you will be spending most of your time.
It is a residential program so there are sufficient number of rooms to accommodate all students.
Hope that clarifies your concern.
When will the term start this year?
If I pay the admission acceptance fees for HRM, and later I receive admission offer for BM, can the amount paid be transferred?
Hi @spxtfxre69,
Kindly mail this concern to the admission office or you can contact them.
All the best!
Okayy, Thankyou so much for the reply.
What are the placement reports for the HRM course?? I couldn’t find them on the website.
