both the colleges are good but Kiams(kirloskar) is better then bimm according to me and batch size is also small so not a prob in getting placed which is there in bimm because of huge batch size of over 1000+ students

When we talk about all the factors in a B-School, we have important ones like Brand Name, Course Structure & Delivery methodologes, Faculty profile, Peer Quality ( Very Imp. ) & Of Course, Placements
Out of the two, i would pick - Kirloskar ( Harihar ) over BIMM, major reason being Faculty Profiles and Batch Size.

Well, in my view VJIM is better than BIMM,,it has less fees, 100% placement, good faculty, Brand name, low batch strength, flexible timings, Good avg. package & also the Gud ROI than BIMM. Still nearly 250 left in BALAJI to be placed..!! n the highest of 10.5 Lakhs has been offered to their executive batch. Total investment for BIMM comes as 10 Lakhs after 2 years bro. SO, i suggest anyone to avoid BIMM if u hve better B-schools than that :biggrin:

Luk firstly you have to understand dat..MBA or any master's degree is given by a UGC recog university whereas a PGDM is given by AICTE approved institutes.
so,master in finance management is basically same as pgdm(finance)..plus all the benifits of a whole time degree course.
Though pgdm(finance) carries a more professional approach.

at that mmomet,itm nm is better option bro ..
bcuz i dont think,rest of all good mat colleges are still open except Vjim(Hyderabad) and IILM-GSM.
Itm-nm : Highest pack: 7.3L/Pa(as per seniors report)
Avg Package :4.5L/pa(as per seniors report)
Lowest Pack: dnt Knw srry
Infrastructure is quite avg.
P.S- Its gd for Marketing and Finance till Now...Good Luck

But since admissions to big B-Schools are over what should i do now??

since all of the good b-schools are over or left just hand full seats so its better to try next year where you will have more and better options in hand...
talking on validity of scores, yes the scores are valid for 1 full year i.e. May mat 2012 will be valid till may 2013 but pls note that none of the b-school accept previous mat results, splly for may and sept mat scores....
I would advise you to appear for Dec/jan Mat 2012-13 exam and apply with those scores, dont wait till may mat its very late to apply and no decent b-schools are left till then

I got the marks which was least expected by me..unfortunatly...
