It is not compulsory to take hostel while taking admission in lpu. But for security and safe purposes you can opt for campus hostel at LPU.
But trust me the hostels are more spacious , providing individual beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs for each student.Each dormitory also features a sizable private washroom, and during the summer, there is the added convenience of cooler facilities. Additionally, students have access to 24*7 free Wi-Fi. Hostels and dormitories come equipped with supplementary amenities like tuck shops,ATM,salons for the convenience of residents.

Regarding safety, LPU ensures a secure environment for both male and female students. Each room is furnished with an iron bed, a wooden table, a plastic chair, and an individual wardrobe. Additionally, two desert coolers are provided in each room, enhancing comfort. The entire campus is extensively monitored with CCTV cameras, and entry for outsiders is strictly regulated through a Gate pass system. Even staff members lacking RFID access to their vehicles must obtain a Gate pass for entry. Female students are not permitted to leave the university premises without parental consent, and gate passes are issued for such instances.
