The Ganesh Chaturthi festivities on campus commenced with the grand arrival of Lord Ganesha, accompanied by the energetic beats of dhol-Tasha drums. Students were decked up in traditional attire, with the girls radiant in vibrant navari sarees. Everyone danced to the drum beats welcoming Bappa with immense joy. The celebrations continued with the sacred Ganesh Sthapna Pooja and Aarti, followed by a special lunch with Modak’s as Prasad.
The cultural night was a true showstopper, with a mesmerising array of performances, including classical dances, soulful singing, and captivating instrumental acts. The talented students made the event an unforgettable experience.
The next morning began with another Aarti and prasad distribution, followed by the Visarjan ceremony in the evening. As the idol was immersed in water, the gathering bid an emotional farewell to Ganpati Bappa, accompanied by music, chants, and a shower of petals, creating a truly immersive cultural experience.
