Hi dear friends i want share you something about IMS Institute Ghaziabad. its a one of the best college of DELHI/NCR i did PGDBM from this institute and i get selected on campus placement, i got 8 lac package per annum.

IMS Ghaziabad & IMT Ghaziabad are two different B-schools, with IMT in a class of its own!

IMS Group of Institutions was founded in 1990, and currently IMS Ghaziabad offers PGDM, PGDM-I.T(Information Technology), PGDM-MM (Marketing Management), PGDM-TM (Tourism Management) and M.C.A courses. The two-year full time Post-Graduate Diploma in Management Programme has been accredited the MBA - Equivalent Status by the 'National Board of Accreditation'.

Admission Procedure
- IMS uses CAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT/CMAT for short listing candidates for all the above programmes.
- Apply to IMS by filling in a separate application form for each programme.
- Foreign/NRI applicants can apply by submitting valid GMAT scores. NRI applicants residing in India will have to appear in CAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT.
- Final Selection will be based on the performance in CAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT/CMAT, group discussion/ simulation exercises, personal interview and some other parameters.


The thread can provide you with deeper insights into admission process, application issues, important dates, shortlisting, etc. You can also get in touch with fellow applicants from across India.

Eligibility criteria
An applicant should have a minimum of three year Bachelor's degree with 50% marks or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian University/ AICTE. Candidates appearing for the final examination for the Bachelor's degree (or equivalent examination) can also apply subject to furnishing evidence to that effect latest by 30th October 2012.

IMS Ghaziabad Placement Report-2011

IMS Ghaziabad had a remarkable placement year 2011 with 450 plus offers from 178 companies. Banking & Financing Services in India (BFSI) were the leading recruiter in terms of number of students placed, followed by PSUs. Many students got offers for consulting profiles from various companies including names like Deloitte, Laurent and Benon, Capital IQ, etc. Students also got international offers for Middle East and South African countries.

Key Pointers:-

150 Pre Placement Talks were received, out of which 120 companies conducted the process.
Few students have been offered International Placements in the Middle East and the South African region.
The highest international CTC offered has been Rs. 18 lacs PA. and the highest domestic was Rs. 8.5 lacs PA.
The average CTC on campus is Rs. 5.07 Lacs PA.
Average of 1.8 offers per students.
8 PSUs for placement, such as Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Vijaya Bank, South Indian Bank, Corporation Bank, Union Bank of India, SBI Life, Power Trading Corporation.
AXIS Bank, Corporation Bank and ICICI Bank have been the major recruiters with the total of 130 accepted offers.


The major recruiters were ICICI Bank, AXIS Bank, Corporation Bank, Federal Bank, Bank of India, CITI Bank, HDFC Bank, Federal Bank, Daimler India, Samsung India, Uflex, HCL Comnet, HCL Infosystems, HCL Technologies, Havells India, VIP Industries, Sapient, ITC, Bajaj Allianz, Parle etc
