I've been reading about the qualifying math exam that we need to pass at iim Cal. It has complete 12th standard portion of math. And I haven't taken math past 10th, also not the best at math. Someone please explain the nature of the test and if people actually get asked to leave if they dont clear the test. If someone can share a mock paper or a previous years paper I'll be eternally grateful.

Asking in a neutral group.

Which one would you choose for an aspirant who prepared for CAT without any specific Specialisation/Domain in mind and (if) converts both these institutes this year. Take all factors in consideration. (These are the only two converts).

P.S: Please don't give reasons like if interested in trade then this else that etc.
