The trading session organized by the finance committee Arthasabha was one of the most exciting and informative sessions for students interested in finance and investment.
The session started with an introduction to the stock market and the basics of trading. The students were given a brief overview of how the stock market works and the factors that can influence stock prices. The session also covered different types of investments, such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and ETFs.
The trading session also included a discussion of different trading strategies, such as value investing, growth investing, or day trading. The students learned about the risks and rewards of each strategy and decided which suits their investment goals and risk appetite.
The trading session was a great learning opportunity for students interested in finance and investments. It allowed them to gain practical experience in trading, understand the workings of the stock market, and develop their investment skills.

Shutterbugs is the photography club of IFMR GSB. Like any other club and committee at IFMR they do conduct events and competitions. They are responsible for covering every other event including conducting their own. They capture the memories created during the events. They deliver quality pictures and videos of performances during each event and that’s how they add value to other CnCs. They promote every individual’s passion for photography as well.
The Model United Nations Club at IFMR GSB recently hosted its flagship event, the Winter Parliament Session. The event aimed to provide participants with a platform to showcase their knowledge, debating and communication skills.The theme of the event was “One Nation One Election,” and the participants were allocated portfolios of cabinet ministers.
Students were given time to prepare their speeches and arguments and gather relevant information to present their opinions effectively.
The winners were judged based on their relevancy, arguments, and effective communication skills. The event provided students an exposure to step into the shoes of parliamentarians and ministers, encouraging them to think outside the box.

Samarthan club known for its social service activities, has celebrated Lakshmi Bal Mahotsav in IFMR where children from the neighboring villages were given a campus tour, conducted fun activities like game competitions, and showed that IFMR Graduate School of Business always gives back to the society.

The sports committee at IFMR GSB B-Sportive planned the tournament including the date, time , venue and format of the tournament. The committee drew the fixtures for the tournament, deciding which players or teams will play against each other in the different rounds.
The tournament was held over a weekend, and several students had registered to participate. The committee decorated the place with banners and posters, creating a lively and festive atmosphere. The games were played in a round-robin format, with each player or team playing against every other player or team in their group.
The matches were intense and exciting, with players showcasing their skills and agility on the court. The spectators cheered loudly, encouraging their friends and classmates, and creating an electric atmosphere.
The second day of the tournament was the knockout stage, with the top players from each group competing against each other in the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals. The matches were closely contested, with several games going down to the wire, and the players displaying remarkable resilience and sportsmanship.
Overall, the badminton tournament held in the college was a huge success, showcasing the talent and enthusiasm of the students, and providing an opportunity for them to engage in healthy competition and camaraderie.
