#BIMTrichy is now having a unique state-of-the-art Financial Trading and Analytics Centre (FINTRAC), equipped with Bloomberg Terminal and the NSE Smart Trading Simulator, making it only the second B-school in Tamil Nadu to do so, and perhaps the first if you account for what all we do here!

It is not just about getting certifications, having access to market data, or doing trade simulation, which any lab with Bloomberg or NSE SMART terminal can easily do. Here, we do interdisciplinary research to build various proofs of concepts. You will find analytics students or HR students working alongside finance students to build models around behavioural finance, high frequency trading linked to other market characteristic, measuring impact of various geopolitical shocks on market, or looking at market data to predict the valuation.

Students are assisted by expert faculties in finance, like Dr Sadrita Deb who joined us as an Assistant Professor from VGSOM, IIT Kharagpur. #BIMTrichy is cruising forward to influence the future.

I wish to specialize in marketing,FMCG sector in the future. Is there scope for the same through BIM, pardon my asking but I do not have much idea about BIM and felt it was more inclined towards tech, hence asking.
