Those who have received the mail regarding the waitlist and 20K, how long have they provided to deposit the amount? Could someone please share the mail/screenshot? This sounds highly unreasonble. Do they follow this practice every year?
It would be better if iim rohtak relaese the results in next week but with full preparations. Many of the students like me dont receive any mail for waitlist, if we are totally rejected then kindly tell us. Those who are waitlisted they dont know what is there waiting number and what is the process of those 20000 that whether they will be refunded or not. In a hurry of announcing results now everything becomes miserable.
After observing the current trend I have come to a conclusion: 1. IIMs are not worth it anymore, at least the new ones. I received a mail stating that I am waitlisted and to stay in the process I need to send 20k to IIM Rohtak. So in short, I don't know my waitlist number, I don't know if I will even get admission. All that IIM Rohtak care about is money. Good going IIM Rohtak.
Adcom guys if you are paying any attention to the group, I don't know how good IIM Rohtak is in teaching management, but you guys perform poor always in managing admission process.
To all the people who've converted Rohtak and thinking of opting it.. *Please think again* Firstly it was the criteria for admission. For a moment let's just forget it. But now this. The attitude shown by the institute is not even at par with the professionalism a prestigious b-school should have shown. No transparency in the results and now asking for 20k for further consideration. INSANE. 🤯
I got a mail saying that I am waitlisted. But when I try to check the same on the Rothak website it says that my record is not found in the updated waitlist.
Is this just me or does anyone else have the same issue?
Just received the email to pay 20k to 'express willingness' for future consideration in waitlist. Matlab mazak hain kya? No waitlist number nothing to take an informed decision... Not sure if it was the same case last year too? Can someone confirm? Or is it only this time that they have screwed up the whole process?! - _-
