Puys, I would like to ask a question from y'all. Joining IIM Nagpur over other MBA college(including preparing for Cat'15) is a good idea or not.
My Opinion= One shuld nt ever join a new college at any cost. This is bcoz of nil alumni base, no placement stats, no faculty of its own etc. Only brand wont drift you in better future, mentorship of college is a waste concept, that we have already experience in pas new iims. " BETTER TAKE CAT AGAIN" is the best way coz ppl here will join the college bcoz they aint getting others offer. This is itself very wrong reason to proceed. Experince guy shuld nt take it bcoz it will give a image that he/she was nt satisfied with his/her job. Wht i think is IIM nagpur will undoubtedly play its part after 5-10 years.. but for now lets not get away by cheesy lines of IIM ahemdabad.
IIM Bihar starting too, it seems. Anyone interested in it?

Mess 3-4 K / Month = 1 - 1.5 lac
Hostel fee include hai ya nahi : donno : assume that it is included
Add bank loan = 2-4 lac
if in vacation we wanna visit your family then add air ticket of 20-30K also.
Total fees including loan = 15 lac
Min. placement from IIM N has to be be 10-`15 lac ........otherwise xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

joining iim nagpur or not?
Being the first batch at any college has a lot of disadvantages like infrastructure, lack of structure in place. processes, etc.
Even if it is an IIM, it has to build up its name and reputation which will take time of atleast 3-4 years. Companies won't flock to the campus just because it is an IIM. They tend to wait for a couple of years, look at the performance and then visit the college for placements.
Considering all of these, I wouldn't advise in joining IIM Nagpur unless there are no other options and trying CAT again is not an option.
What do you guys think, People with less than 24 months workex will convert or not?
