Kiddin, no coveted voveted, 
however first impression is that he is a desi version of KOTLER, although he does not buys KOTLER'S views on marketing.
We have a fleet of new professors, ( Yehan bhi attrition rate high hai , ufff:wow: , I thot aisa sirf BPO wich honda hai. 😃 )
Another professor , MR. Bagga is a very good CF prof, who devotes most of the time explaining the current industry practises. I luv this. bcoz, I hate thoery. lol.

I am writing this article to elucidate on my college which is so scarcely known and people who know it has many misconceptions!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I study at FORE (its in New Delhi) and to be very honest I myself had not heard about the college about a year before. And I was not willing to accept anything below top 10 at that time forget FORE which comes at 20-25 according to ranks
(By the way srew the cosmode and all other rankings that has placed FORE at 11th rank).
Then why did I joined FORE..I would say I didnt had much options
Whatever may be the reason /// now I am at FORE.
SO how is FORE or How do I find FORE?
I like my college and I am very happy with it
The greatest strength of the college is its faculty.

As far as infra is considered its not that good but the college is developing a world class infra in Gurgaon. Our college would cover about 50,000 sq feet.
The Seniors are quite helpful and always ready to support us with whatever resources they have.
Its a tradition to give ur juniors a fresher party that they will remember their entire life
I never had any welcome the way I had at FORE.
The placements are good ---almost 100%.
With in hand salary to be ranging from 20-30k.(avg)
This year we had all the top consulting firms.
The biggest drawback is that it not a residential college.
The quality of ur batchmates wont be exactly great.
The ratio of gal:boys is almost 1:1
Now thats a good or bad thing depends upon individuals.
I would like to say that keep Fore atleast as a backup if not priority
I would like to say its up to an individuals perception how he sees things there may be millions other who would disagree with meI dont give a damn about them.

this thread has smwhat changed the set notions i had regarding this institute....i gave cat this year n scored 90.69%.have an average acads with X 72,XII 68 N Engg 55.have a 9 mths work ex with software MNC.....donot know if i will get a call from FORE....any of u fore people can u shed some light on chances to make through....n some tips on GDPI

and in pi do we need presentationa s few colla re asking for it like sibm and icfai as of now i think placement week is over by now tell me whts the avg packgae students got and any foreign placement

I m sure... There will be a case study discussion, where u will be given a relevent case and 2 min to think b4 discussion. Abt 8 - 10 students in a grp, and u will be watched by 3 member panel : 2 faculties and a corporate guy.
After this, u wil hv a pi, where again 3 member panel ( 1 - frm ur grad backgrnd, 1 - senior profffesor/director/prgm dir and 1- from industry).
Yes placement week is over. And placement this week has broken all previous records set by FORE. ( as per Times of India) plz wait for the official press release.

Ur mail reminded me of the condition i was in a couple of years back! My bckgrnd is Mech engg, had a percentile of 89.7, ( had workex as a site engg at Mumbai and good extra-curriculars i.e. nationals in sports etc....). I joined FORE and let me tell u i am not dissatisfied. This year i got into a MNC research and consultancy firm - very new in India based in Gurgaon. My in hand is around 38K pm post tax with a substantial jump after 6 months. I am happy, Fore gave the acess to consultancy that i always wanted. not trying to promote my college......, just that i want to inform u that by the look of things, u wont get dissapointed. I knew i coudnt get into McKinsey without an IIM tag, but now i will again make a sincere effort with a decent work ex in this line.
With a work ex of 2 years, u will be eligible for laterals and thus a potential candidate for firms such as Accenture, PNB AMC, HSBC etc which typically pays around 8.0 lakhs (benifits such as Esops extra....)
