I guess somewhere in this thread u will find the answer .....
Anyways according to my knowledge 80 percrntile above is safe ....but ppl wid good work ex can expect calls above 75 percentile ..

what is the importance of extracurricular activities in selection procedure and getting a call ?

for example ; i have been an active participant in college fests and functions during my undergraduation and i used to play the synthesizer but i do not have any certificate as yet. do i need to issue it from my college ??

sorry everyone, i was busy wit the HR conclave in the college and some other stuff like my summers...........


The HR conclave was good with many eye-openers and lots of HR heads of top industries sharing their experiences and views

as Mr. Gupta asked about the extra curricular activities :- they prove to be advantagious but how advantagious depends on the person takin ur interview
like during my interview at FORE the guy was interested in me bein an enterpreneur rather than me representin my school in basketball and cricket upto district level......

as for the CNBC coverage is concerned I missed it to
if its goin to be retelecasted i wuld let u all know.

This was made to both exp and freshs

as far as placements in HR is concerned i dont have much info to share simply cause i am not interested in HR. I will contact the placements guys and let u know if u r really interested.

u dont have to worry abt the sort of managers fore makes
their are tons of corporates standin in queue to pick the sort of managers that fore makes

with the number of companies pouring in for placements and midterm on ur head along with millions of projects and assignments u dont get enough time to satisfy queries of each and everyone

as far as profile is concerned engineers form the majority we have a fairly diverse background ........

One more thing to add, illchillu or whoever u re, instead of worrying about work expr and things like this, it will be better , if u concentrate more on ur CAT. Isnt it, how come u re gettin time to do all this, is a great thought provocation for us.

Any ways, ATB for CAT, and may GOD help u zoom into a b school where your kinda thinkin managers are made.

Dear Mr. iluchillu,

This is certainly not the way to ask questions. You must appreciate the fact that these students are taking time off from their super hectic schedules to help people like you, no one is forcing them to help you and they are certainly not being paid any salaries.

I hope you will keep this in mind and be more polite in the future. Carry on the good work Ramdeo Baba :)

Buddy don worry bout my cat score..ill take care of it....n for ur information the average of my cat scores of last 3 years is 94.5.

but my question is not yet answered..that what is the proportion of guyz with good work x in fore and do u have provision of lateral placements at fore.
More over don u guyz think u shud be in a way thankful to me....atleast this thread reincarnated due to my sarcastic remark....newayz i m sorry again if i hurt nebodys feelings

Nice to see the guys from fore doing a great job...keep up the good work. I was just cuorious to know about the various management activities that students of fore undetakes..like seminars and industry interaction...will be glad if some information on that is put up.
