Hi, Can you please suggest me a good Admissions Consulting Service in India, Bangalore for applying to ISB and few other Top  B-Schools in US. Though i have heard good reviews about services like Stacy Blackman, they are very expensive. I am looking for an admissions consulting service preferably in Bangalore which has good reputation yet has pricing as per Indian Market.

I am expecting to start my MBA application process by April 2015 and planning to give GMAT in March 2015 for which preparations have started.

Hello everyone,

Coming back to Pagalguy after a hiatus. I want to do a specialization course (executive MBA) in ISB or any other top American University.

I have already completed my fulltime MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai and currently working in the IT Sector.

This idea is still at a very nascent stage, and my profile is as follows:

10th - 80.16%

12th - 80.16%

Graduation - 7.41/10

Post-Grad (MBA) - 2.42/4.00

Apart from my current work, I interned in a top FMCG company and I also write a weekly column for Star Sports. I have extensive experience in working as a football analyst for various websites (Indian and foreign).

Please guide me and also let me know if I need to share anything more.

Thank you.

Hi All,

Please find my profile details as below,

10th Score: 84% (KA State Board)

12th Score: 76% (KA State Board)

Graduation(BE) Score: 76%(Aggregate)

Work Experience : 4.2 years(as of today) in IT industry Bangalore.

Apart from good score from the exam, what else do you think I should concentrate on, to increase my profile weight.

More Importantly - Need your guidance for GMAT preparation, which I started from today.

1. Books to refer - (currently referring official GMAT guide 2015).

2. How much time do you think i should reserve for preparation before giving the exam?

3. Any body(in my wavelength) interested to join with me on preparation? combinedly we can start and keep the journey interesting and alive.

PGDM 71%

Workex 3 years in corporate treasury for different automobile majors. How does my profile look ? what efforts should I put to get into ISB next year?

Hello Puys and Pals,

If anyone with healthcare background (doctors, dentists, physiotherapists and the like) needs guidance on the application process, I shall be glad to help.

P.S. I am a doctor with an ISB admit

Hi Guys, I am new here. But here goes.

My Academic scores are as follows : Xth : 91.4%, XIIth : 84.4%, B.E - 74.4%. I have not yet given GMAT.

I am a mechanical Engineer with 2 Years 5 Months experience in Automobile Industry. I work in a Global Product Development Team.

I am planning on doing mba. And as i mostly will not be studying any further, i want to pursue it from a good college.

So ISB is definitely on the list. What do you think are my chances? i am planning on giving GMAT by Aug 15

i took gmat scored 580 without prep. Now i want to seriously prepare for gmat and aiming 700+. Now since, I already have a pathetic gmat score of 580, will it hamper my chances even if I get a great score now?

Hey, got an interview invite on 7th Feb via Skype. Keeping fingers crossed.

Haii all,

I am interested in doing Executive MBA .

My Academics are: X -90.1% , XII -- 95.3%, B.Tech Mech - 78.9%

I have 2.8 Years of experience in Sales & Marketing, in a Indian Mechanical Oriented Company.

Extra Circulars: TT Player at corporate level (After Joining in job).

I haven't given GMAT yet. I am thinking to give it by May End.

Please help me out with the strategy and approach to get in to ISB.

Is there anything i have to add to my profile, to make it better??

Cheers!!!

Kishore.

Hey everyone

I will be taking GMAT in the month of May. Does ISB call for interview in the month of June ?

I have always wondered about how people figure out there professional short term and long term goals and the need to do an MBA for that, while from my experience(5yrs) in the industry i figured out that it is the Company's goal which matters and they will utilize you in meeting their goals(Until unless one doesn't start his/her own venture). For me it would be for the pleasure of learning new things. If anyone could put a light on the above subject it would be helpful

I plan to apply this year and would like to team up with people preparing for the GMAT.

I have will a GMAT Score which will be 3 years and 8 months old, when i apply this year. Is that okay? or is it better to re-write?
