Hello Guys, I have a query. My notice period at work is 2 months (not sure if it can be brought down to 1 month or not with buy-out). Considering I don't make the first list of IIML, and am in the WL and convert in may-end or June, how am I supposed to proceed from here. Any of you out there in the same boat? 

Since my work-ex is more, I do not want to take any chances and miss out on this.

Does anyone have any idea if IIML checks for IIM ABC converts and does not put them in the offer list? Maybe that's why they take so much time. Otherwise there would be huge overlapping in the lists.  Seems only logical.

I called up the AO couple of days back. 

He said the result will come by end of the week only. Also, I asked 2 key questions, see the responses below.

1) They will only make 460 offers for 460 seats - No buffer offers

2) They might release the waitlist number this year. This was under deliberation this year.
