Place of posting would matter a lot for people so find any bank having more branches in your state. Other parameters include, Size, business, profit etc of a bank.

headoffice matters or not while ranking banks.....

@daddykool Boss, does that mean , for example , if i want Delhi for my posting , i must give first preference to banks having their head offices in Delhi ??

Look for whichever bank has more branches in Delhi/NCR. Only PNB and OBC have head offices in delhi...PNB will go to the top rankers, OBC is a small bank.

3000 approx OBC...head office doesn't matter much.

it means a little bit matters coz i heard sumwhere that central bank of india gives posting in south....so concerned about headoffices.....what u say..

@daddykool Punjab and Sind bank also... Anyways i was planning to keep OBC as my first option if selected ?? Any idea about job profile and work load in OBC ?

in obc all allowances after 2 year probation so beware as making its ur first choice
