Which is correct?
Kolkata is the worth - seeing city.

as we know it is wrong
it should be KOlkata is city worth-seeing.
But i a wanted to know generally Adjective precedes a noun correct...
then what is happening here... please help...

The use of 'FEW' ,'A FEW' and 'THE FEW' should be used with care .They denote 'NUMBER'
"Few" means 'not many',It is OPPOSITE of many.
"A few" is positive and means 'some at least'.It is OPPOSITE of none.
"The few" means 'whatever there is'.
Examples
(1) A FEW men are free from fault (INCORRECT). (It should be ONLY "few")Here the sense is NEGATIVE ,so 'A FEW' is wrong.
(2) FEW boys will pass in examination (WRONG) (It should use "A FEW ")Here sense is POSITIVE,so 'few' is wrong.
(3)I have already read A FEW books that are on the shelf. (WRONG )I have already read THE FEW books that are on the shelf.Here the sense is "WHATEVER THERE IS".
The same relation holds for "LITTLE" ,"A LITTLE" and "THE LITTLE".Cheers !! 😃

Usage of "Than" .
Part-1
"THAN" is used in comparative degree ,But with words like SUPERIOR,INFERIOR,SENIOR,JUNIOR,PRIOR,ANTERIOR,PREFER etc ...."TO" is used.
Examples :- I prefer reading than sleeping (wrong ) [reading to sleeping is correct].
Ravi is senior than others (Wrong) [senior to others is correct].
Part-2
Whenever comparison is made by using 'THAN",the word "OTHER" must be used to exclude the thing with which it is compared
Example:-He is stronger than any man (wrong) [stronger than any OTHER man].
Part-3
In some case comparison is subtle and must be given proper attention:
The climate of Ranchi is better THAN Gaya (wrong)
The climate of Ranchi is better THAN THAT of Gaya. (or better THAN climate of Gaya)

Quarters are HOUSES allowed to us.
(7) Customer :- a buyer of goods
Client :- one who avails oneself a service.
The shopkeeper welcomes his CUSTOMERS.
The lawyer discussed the case with his CLIENTS
(8)COST :-amount paid by the SHOPKEEPER.
Price :-amount paid by the CUSTOMER.
(9)CAUSE produces a result.
Reason explains or justifies a CAUSE.
(10) The noun HABIT applies to INDIVIDUAL.
whereas CUSTOM applies to SOCIETY OR COUNTRY.

LAY and LIE
“Lay” is a transitive verb. It requires a direct subject and one or more objects.
Its present tense is “lay” (e.g., I lay the pencil on the table) and its past tense is “laid” (e.g., Yesterday I laid the pencil on the table).
“Lie” is an intransitive verb. It needs no object. Its present tense is “lie” (e.g., The Andes mountains lie between Chile and Argentina) and its past tense is “lay” (e.g., The man lay waiting for an ambulance).
The most common mistake occurs when the writer uses the past tense of the transitive “lay” (e.g., I laid on the bed) when he/she actually means the intransitive past tense of “lie" (e.g., I lay on the bed).

The sentence -->
The immediate task is to ensure that the restoration of peace and harmony is done, rehabilitation takes place and the displaced people are able to go back to their villages.
This sentence is grammatically incorrect . Because the 1st part is in passive voice and the rest is in active voice .
Please Please help me figure out how it is in passive voice ? And how to spot such kind of errors?
