GMAT Coaching in Mumbai

can someone please provide me names of any good tutor for Gmat preparation...

I had joined Career forum 3 months back... its pathetic
they make false promises about 750+ score guaranteed but there is no proper class when u joined they promised they have faculties from IIM and ISB. when I went for a Quants class the faculty was MSc zoology teach us (mostly BE students who r already good at basics) number system.

there are mostly no students or no faculty... when u call nobody answers ur queries once they get the oney they do not entertain u at all.
I wasted my 23000 there now I have started preparing on my own..
I suggest noone should go to such classes its best form a group and study on our own.

hi, i attended IMS for verbal since that was a weak point for me... and i prefer having some "physical human being" (if i may say so...:-P) to be accessible for doubt solving.

the faculty at IMS is great. the instructors are really patient and help u out with all doubts. they are not like the instructors frm other classes where if 4 out of 15 ppl understand a topic the instructor proceeds to the next topic. the faculty members at IMS will explain the topic till every single person in class understands perfectly and the whole class is at one level as far as understanding is concerned.

just one suggestion before u join ne class: make sure u do some self study... for eg. solve the OG and in case u r weak in maths take up Kaplan Math Foundation and go through that... once u do this u'll have a good idea abt the pattern n types of questions that are covered in GMAT. hence u will be able to relate to the happenings in the class in a much better way.

of course... while doing the OG n other material if u feel that u don't need classes... well that saves a lot of money ;-)

also, keep visiting PG and other forums... i personally have learnt a lot frm here :cheerio:

hope this helps

Hi abkyakaroon.
Even am looking for classes specifically for verbal. Can you tell how much did they charge you for the class. Also did you find any help while preparing SOP s and essays from the institute.
thanks

He is a franchise of career forum.
And all the comments about his teaching and services are true. Even i have fallen in this trap.

Future Propel & Career Forum is run by one person - Manish Vijayvargiya
He is a franchise of Career Forum. I guess he has shut future propel.
All the comments above are true.

any good professors for QUANTS???
only quants..??

I have done MBA HR from IMT Ghaziabad (full time, 2 yrs) and have close to 6 yrs. work exp. I now want to do an International MBA to change my field as I don't really like working in HR. I have no idea about GMAT but had got 95.67 percentile in CAT in 2004. I tried online research but the vast amount of information is just confusing me anymore. Need some, no actually a lot of guidance. Do help.
