Another Sensational Student of the Year Award Function 2017 lights up GIBS -
Date: 27 November

Memorable occasions like the Student of the Year awards at the Global Institute of Business Studies come but rarely. The anxious wait and patient expectation culminated in Valasala NVA Sai Shankar receiving the Student of the Year trophy along with a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh. Muthu Venkatesh was awarded the Best Sportsperson title while Marzia Fatima received the recognition of Best Talent-Female. The Best Talent-Male Award went to Sameer Khan. Creative Club was adjudged the best among the many GIBS clubs and committees. The Organizing Committee was felicitated by GIBS with a Rolling Trophy, an acknowledgment they splendidly earned.
Congratulations to all the winners. The event was excellently hosted by Sandeep Bhansali and Emcee Archi.

Don’t forget the distinguished gathering of over 400 stars that represented the best of Corporates and Academicians, Alumni and Students. Such conglomerations do remind of the continuity of time eternally, when the young and old get together. A mutual give and take is what the educational and corporate society really means.
The felicitation to Sarthak Bhaskar Mangaonkar was honestly justified. Sarthak is fresh from fabulous victories at the 4th International Skating Championships in Singapore in October 2017. Two gold, one silver, and one bronze medal came his way. We wish him success in Turkey in 2018.
Besides inborn talents and skills, it is dedication and training that succeed in finding appreciation and a place in the sun. In the race to find professional success as corporate managers, the soft skills take long to develop in the face of hard struggle. Bangalore may be a mighty marketplace, but it is intense competition too. Since institute performance forms a foundation for the future, hopefully, the winners will take their places at the top of the management ladder in their future careers.
