I am from general category, an engineer, and a male candidate. My scores are as follows 10th - 80.6% 12th - 63.5% B.E - 57% Should I even consider putting in efforts for CAT or is it impossible to get calls from any of the top ten MBA colleges, even if I get the required CAT percentile?

10/12/Undergrad: 88.42 ICSE/94 CBSE/ 88.60 B.Tech.
Work ex. : IT for 36 months in May, 2016.
By the time, I apply for CAT 2016, I would have close to 4 years of work-ex. My query is that with my profile, even if I can get a great CAT score, would my work ex (on the higher side) actually be a disadvantage for me if and after I receive a call? Should I give up on CAT (2 yr PGDM) and start thinking about PGPX? The same query also wrt XAT. I am aiming for IIMs, XL, SPJMIR and JB. I've converted IMT, IMI, XIMB (RM) this year (93.24 in CAT 2015) but not joining. Kindly, respond. Thanks in anticipation!
