Change the thread name to GT-2014... The syllabus will be of more or less equal to that of 'GATE'/IES.. The standard of the written exam changes every yr.... So don't worry about the cutoff.. It also depends on the No. of candidates writing the exam and the No. of vacancies in each discipline... And concentrate more on general awareness questions along with ur discipline subjects... Hope all of u get through this exam and interview... All the bestπ»π»π»πππ!!!!!!
finally ongc notification uploaded now people decide wether go for ongc or IES , this is intentially done by ongc to clash paper with IES & one thing added this year 25% qualifiacation marks pwople who have good % in btech have better chance

i am a person form SC category. when i am filling the online application, marking my category as SC and applying for AEE civil
" Vacancy for given category with this post is not available you can go for general " is being displayed since there are no seats for SC in AEE civil. now how do i keep my category the same and apply for that specific post?
